(#17) Is. 36+37 (500 BC theme)
[description of the symbology]
‘the king of Assyria attacks’ :
Adam is not allowed to
destroy the 144 remnant
[final version ; 2022-10oct.16]
part I : prologue – Is. 36
(not translated)
‘Sennacherib’ : the Adam type
… we should keep in mind that this event must have a deeper layer ,
just like 200 years later the fall of Jerusalem had , where ‘Jerusalem and Judah’
prophetically symbolize “this earth” :
Sennacherib was ‘the king of Assyria’ and very probable representing ‘Adam’
per previous Isaiah chapters , while the meaning of his name “Sin has replaced
the brothers” (where ‘Sin’ is a moon-deity) can point to “the 144 taking over
Adam’s rule over Eden” since we saw this also was a theme ;
Sennacherib’s general mocking the Judahites – and God
… after the general bluffed “do not think that your God can save you from the king”,
Hezekiah and his princes are disheartened and send a delegation to Isaiah hoping
to hear what God thinks about this hopeless situation for them ,
saying “this is a day of great trouble : for the time of birth has come , but there is no
strength for the bringing forth (-of it)” —
it is a type proverb denoting “the ultimate tipping point” , a make or break situation ,
yet the phrasing already shows a link to the other reality (and see Is. 66:8) ;
part II – Is. 37
the king of Assyria defeated ‘Bit Adini’ (‘Eden’) … the Assyrian religion was ‘watered down’ and was not aware about the other Reality like f.e. Egypt , yet the symbology in the text is striking for the king says “how my fathers subdued (the region of-) Eden”, and with this line he – unknowingly – represents Adam ; you see Bit-Adini between the Euphrates and the Chabur while also Guzana (red dot) is mentioned ; the city Haran was in the centre of that region and the text probably also listed it’s capital Masuwan – as the later Till (‘hill’) Barsip where it writes ‘Tel-asshur’ , but because the name is too unsure we dropped that one ; |
![]() the Assyrian heartland is to the right of the pic |
the letter (‘scroll’) which the king wrote :
… the king wrote “a deceitful letter” and the analogy is ofcourse “Adam having
counseled to corrupt the scroll” — but the latter is not easy to phrase , in context ;
text :
(line 30)
‘first — third year’ :
… to be fair : usually it just writes “in the third year (after waking them)” ,
perhaps here as “the year that …. + and in the third year” :
but we left it like this , knowing Esau definitely saw a timeframe here ;

Isaiah 36+37
fulltext (part II) : [after the Assyrian general has threatened them :]
5
like this , the servants of king Hezekiah come to Isaiah ;
6
but Isaiah says to them : thus you will say to your lord (‘Hezekiah’) :
thus says IEUE : do not be afraid for the speech which you heared +
wherewith the attendant of the king of Assyria has blasphemed me ;
7
for behold ! , I will put fear upon him +
when he will hear the report , [sic , see notes]
then he will return to his own land
and I will cause him to fall + [comp. ‘Adam slain by spirits’]
by the swords of his sons ; [sic , see notes + line 38]
8
then the general returned with this answer to the king of Assyria ,
b [deleted 8x irrelevant]
9
a [deleted 9x irrelevant]
and when he had heared it ,
he sent messengers to Hezekiah , saying :
10
thus will you speak to Hezekiah king of Judah , saying :
let not your deity , in whom you trust , deceive you :
saying : Jerusalem will not be given in the hand of the king of Assyria ;
11
behold ! , you have heared what the kings of Assyria
have done to all the lands by subjecting them ; +
12
have the gods of the people delivered them +
whom my fathers have conquered , [sic , read: Adam]
b
like Gozan and Haran which are in the house (‘dwelling’) of Eden ? ;
13 [corrupt]
14
and when Hezekiah had received the letter + [part II b :]
from the hand of the messengers , and had read it ,
he goes up to the house of IEUE
and spreads it out before IEUE ;
15
and he prays to IEUE , saying :
16
IEUE of hosts , deity of (the literal land-) Ishral ,
you who dwell in heaven , +
who are the only deity of all the kingdoms of the land (‘earth’) ,
who rules the heavens and the land (‘earth’) ;
17
incline your ear , IEUE , and hear me :
you have heared all the words which Senacherib has sent to us ,
reproaching the living God ;
18
it is true , IEUE , that the kings of Assyria
have subdued all the people and their lands , +
19
and have cast their gods into the fire ;
b
because anyway they were no gods
but instead wood and stone , the work of man’s hands ,
and therefore they have destroyed them ;
20
but you , IEUE , are our deity : save us ! from his hand ,
so that all the kingdoms of the land (‘earth’) will know that only you are IEUE ;
21
22 [part IIc : said to Adam !]
this is the word which IEUE speaks about him :
you and your nations (‘of spirits’) +
made the virgin daughter of tsiun (‘eden land’) desolate , [18a]
b
and afterwards you took captive my people (eden-) Ishral (‘Originals’) [18a]
23
whom you defeated and have taunted ;
then you raised your voice +
and lifted up your haughty eyes against the Holy one of (eden-) Ishral ;
24
and now , through your servant (‘Senacherib !’) +
you have taunted the Lord , by saying :
with my many chariots I will come up +
against the city of Jerusalem and the land of Judah , [read: ‘this world’]
b
and I will cut off the remnant (‘potential 144’) of his people ;
and I will make sure that their descendants (‘as 144’)
will not come against me in the days of the end , [comp. line 31]
25
for I will give a letter (‘scroll’) to the people , [but read: “THE scroll”, 14a]
b
[totally corrupted — yet needs to be logical :]
as the deceiving words of their deity , [comp. line 10]
but they will be the sayings of falsehood ;
26
so that Jacob (‘souls on earth’) +
will not knów about their (adm-) ground which he made ,
as the one that he formed in the days of olden : [a-b: comp. line 30 b]
therefore they will not seek his mountain of tsiun , [‘other reality’]
because they will love their fortified city (‘earth’) ; [‘staying in Jerusalem’ ?]
27
therefore his (‘Jacobs’) remnant (‘144’) will be of little power ,
being confused and confounded ,
b
[utterly corrupt 10x , even the roots :]
(“because they will not be able to find their deity ,
so that he will not come against me” …?)
28
but I am aware of your plans , and I know your rage against me , +
29
and your rage against thém , [read : the potential 144]
for your arrogance has come up into my ears :
therefore I will put my hook into your nose
as my bridle in your lips (‘jaw’)
and I will turn you back the same way +
which you will come against them ; [read: not destroying the 144]
31
for I will deliver the remnant (‘potential 144’) from your hand
and they will yield fruit in the days of the end :
30
because I will awaken them in that time , [30: see intro]
and they will investigate the scroll in the first year ,
and restore her in the second year ,
and in the third year I will gather together the remnant +
out from all of their lands ; [=chapter context]
32
then they will go forth from Jerusalem (‘this earth’)
as the remnant that escaped from Judah (‘this world’) ,
and I will bring them to my mountain tsiun :
the zeal of IEUE of hosts will perform this ; [closing : the literal king]
33
therefore thus says IEUE concerning the (literal-) king of Assyria :
he will not come to this city ,
nor shoot any arrow against her , nor confront her with shields ,
and he will not cast up a siege mound against her ;
33
but he will return the same way he has started out to her ,
and will not enter this city , is the declaration of IEUE ;
34
for I defend this city as saving her for my own sake
and for my servant David’s (‘eden rule’) sake ;
35
then the angel of IEUE went forth +
and smote in the camp of the Assyrians
a hundred and eighty-five thousand , [or: 144,000 – as the anti-remnant?]
and when the king arose early ,
behold ! , only corpses everywhere ;
36
so Senacherib king of Assyria departed +
as returning to dwell at Nineveh (‘the capitol’) ;
37
and it happened that when he worshipped in the house of Nisroch his deity ,
that his sons Adrammelech and Sharezer smote him with the sword +
and they escaped to the land of Ararat ;
and his son Esarhaddon ruled in his place .
