chapter context :
Amos needs to be read in sequence
in general , Amos is about the relation
between the northern house [120,000 sons] ,
related to “the (eden-) land and -feminine” ;
this chapter :
the “spirits on their ivory beds” as a phallic type spirits , who are the personal enemies of the 120,000 sons of the Ishral house ; and a very sober message at the end ;

hoofdstuk context :
– Amos moet eigenlijk in volgorde worden gelezen –
het boek Amos handelt over “het noordelijke rijk Ishral” , de 120,000 zonen vertegenwoordigend ;
omdat de verandering begint bij het huis Ishral ;

als de persoonlijke vijanden van de 120,000 zonen van het huis Ishral ;
daarom gebruikt ze het “steek over naar de regio’s !” – zie diagram in top pagina;

Amos 6

woe ! the·tranquil-ones in·Zion and·the·ones-trusting in·mountain-of Samaria
ones-being-specified-of first-of the·nations and·they-come to·them house-of ishral
Woe to them [that are] at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria,
[which are] named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came!
‘samaria’, likely a combination of ‘dregs’ and ‘to preserve’ (same roots) ;
‘named’, H5344 naqab ‘proper : to puncture’, colour: ‘to specify’ [interl. got many colours right] ;

  • context : main theme : the house Ishral (as 120,000 sons) coming agáinst this class of spirits :
    in previous chapter the house was exiled , because they was stubborn ;
    this chapter starts anew , telling what the sons will do when they will have learned :
    this class of spirits is raping female-Originals , and ‘eden-feminine’ is the house’s attribute ;
  • 120,000 : all of the Amos chapters deal with
    the house Ishral , therefore we use this number ;
    Samaria : the region of the pillars (oaks) carrying
    their boat , just below the red cube (diagram) ;
    Samaria can be either from the root “dregs”
    (comp. Jer.48) or as “watchtower (on high)” ;
    chiefs of the nations : combined with the
    “beds of ivory” (line 3-4) we identify these as
    the figures lying upon their beds (see to right ,
    destroyed fragment of Gates sixth hour) ,
    the beds related to the abuse of the females ;

  • 2) chiefs as KHAT : to right ;
    the KHA as ‘jumping-fish (-soul)’, having jumped
    from the deep-south onto the region above eden ;
    not as “dead body” (per dictionary) , but having
    acquired a mixed type body for their fish-soul ,
    the glyph as “eden-essence fór the jumping-fish” ,
    as a dangerous concept , hence the ‘ward-off’
    as endglyph ; see the (ivory) “couch-glyph” and
    the beds in hour 6 , and the line in Amos 4 about
    “they (spirits) upon their ivory beds” ;

line ,
“woe ! / the ones being comfortable / in=by (means of) tsiun       [=’eden residence’] / ,

want het huis Ishral  [=’120,000 hier’] zal tegen hen optrekken ;

direct gezegd tegen de 120,000 :
pass-you ! Calneh and·see-you ! and·go-you ! from·there Hamath~great
and·go-down-you ! Gath-of Philistines e·tubim ?·good-ones from the·kingdoms
the·these if vast boundary-of·them from·boundary-of·you
Pass ye unto Calneh, and see; and from thence go ye to Hamath the great: then go down to Gath
of the Philistines: [be they] better than these kingdoms? or their border greater than your border?

  • ‘calneh’ , H3641 kaln-eh ; -kol ‘whole, all’ ; Is.10 , “Arpad is as Hamath” [as KHENNU ,
    innermost-sacred-place , where Damascus , the hand , resides within] ;
    also Is. 10 “Kalneh is as Karkemish” ; possibly the KAR-shrine ? ;
    H3751 Karkemish is at the Euphrat river ; karkom, [perhaps] ‘saffron’ 1x ; as kar+kemosh
    (Chemosh , Abydos) ; -kar ‘plumpness , as lamb or pasture’ ; kor ‘measure’, kur ‘furnace’ ;
  • ‘gath’ , H1661 gath ; -gath  ‘winepress’ , SHESMU ; in Jer.48 33-35 as Hesbon [H’SP-vineyard]  ?  ;
  • ‘better’ , tub-form [eden-good] ; questionable [because nonsensical context] ;
    later on in this chapter (-thaab) is used , “to abhor” ,
  • ‘border’ , H1366 gebul ‘border, boundary, territory’ ;
  • context : theme : said to the 120,000 : we had other chapters with the same exhortation
    (“cross over you to Khittim”, inclusive the “and see you!” , just like here) ;
    intended region : bottom of red cube and just below it ;
    the diagram needs to become more precise still – but “from earth , to Abydos”
    (entry in the bottom of red cube) “and go to Hamath” (imprisoned Damascus) ,
    then “descend a bit towards the root” , as the region right below Damascus ;
    per context the latter region must be where this class of spirits resides
    (compare hour 6 , where they are in the lower register) ;
    I)  ‘better then these’ : is contextually illogical ;
    not (-tub) ‘good’ was intended but ‘to abhor’,
    where this line is adressed to the 120,000 ,
    and compare diagram ;
    Calneh : since ‘Kar-kemosh’ is linked to her ,
    the location must be Chemosh (see Jer.48)
    as [the Egyptian] city of Abydos , the gate into
    their torso [as descended eden-house] , the red cube ;

line ,
“[120.000 ,] cross over you ! [-dimensionally] / (to) Calneh  [=’Abydos’] / , and see you ! / ,
and go you / from there / (to) Hamath the great       [=’containing Damascus’] / ,
and descend you / (to) Gath  [=’Heshbon, H’SP-vineyard’] of / the Philistines  [=’giants-types’] / :
(are) [+not] – these – kingdoms – from=as – an abhorrence / ,
or=since – their – large – territory – (is) from=at yóur border ? / ;

“[120.000 ,] steekt u over ! [-dimensioneel] naar Calneh [=’Abydos’] , en zie ! ,
sinds hun uitgestrekte gebied op úw grens ligt ? ;

hoofdstuk wisseling : omschrijving van deze geesten :
the·ones-isolating to·day-of evil and·you-are-bringing-close seat-of violence
the·ones-lying on couches-of ivory and·ones-extending on divans-of·them and·ones-eating
butting-lambs from·flock and·calves from·midst-of stall
Ye that put far away the evil day, and cause the seat of violence to come near;
That lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches,
and eat the lambs out of the flock, and the calves out of the midst of the stall;

  • ‘put away’, H5077 nad-ah ‘put away, exclude (postpone)’; -ned ‘heap [of waters]’, as blocked ? ;
  • ‘seat’ , H7675 shebeth ‘seat, place’ 5x but 1x prophets ; -yashab ‘to dwell’ ; shabath ‘to rest,
    to cease (in order to have the shabbath)’ ; shbb ? ;
  • context : chapter change : description of these spirits :
    as continuation of Amos 4 (hence the whole book need be read in sequence) ;
  • I) the phallic and the ‘abuse’ theme : very ‘veiled’ written :
    we saw how God avoids any term which can describe sexual actions or organs ,
    in one chapter (about porn and man) he describes the organ as “the outgrowth” ,
    and similar language is used towards these spirits (and especially in chapter 4) ;
    hanging ones : not the usual “stretch out, lay down”, but as how a curtain hangs down ;
    see line 5-7 for the used root ;
    calves from the flock : same theme as in Amos 4 , as female-Originals ;
    here however is added “(butting-) rams”, which in another (posted) chapter refer to
    the 144 sons – it’s not clear yet how this could relate to the sóns , if the used term
    is interpreted as ‘masculine’ ;
  • II) the phallic and abuse theme is postpóning Revelation :
    especially Amos 4 shows the relation between the 120,000 sons and this theme –
    the house Ishral is responsible for “protecting eden-feminine”, but as long the
    sons fail and abuse themsélves women (on earth) , as sexual theme ,
    they give the legal right tó these type spirits to continue their abuse of female-Originals :
    with result that “the day of evil for them” is continuously postponed ;
    this is the concept we derive from the chapters of Amos ;
    beds of ivory : see picture in line 1 ; ivory as (shn) here ; pre-eden glyph AB (Jer.48) ;
    ones bringing close : it’s unlikely that ‘you’ was intended (as said to the house) ,
    the syntax can hardly place ‘you’ between a series “the ones..” ,
    and neither is this a punishing-chapter to the house (as the end of ch.5 was) ;

line ,
“[these spirits are] the ones blocking [‘suspending’] – (to=as) the – evil – day  [+coming to them] / ,
[=the ones] bringing close [‘serpent-way’] / (the seat?) of / violence / ;

en de kalveren uit het midden van de stal                     [=’vrouwelijke-Originelen verkrachtend’] ;

That chant to the sound of the viol, [and] invent to themselves instruments of musick, like David;
That drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the chief ointments: but they are not grieved
for the affliction of Joseph. Therefore now shall they go captive with the first that go captive,
and the banquet of them that stretched themselves shall be removed.

  • ‘chant’ , H6527 parat 1x ; -phar as ‘devide’ root (phrz ‘breach’) ; peret ‘broken off [fruit]’ 1x ;
    or as them being typed ‘young bulls’ as -phar in Am. 4 ; “ones dividing” ? ,
  • ‘mouth’ , literally ;
  • ‘harp’ , -nbl ; can also be ‘skin-jar’ (Jer.48) , or even ‘foolish’ (-nbl) ;
  • ‘sound’ , H7892 shiyr ‘song’ ; shor ‘gate’ ? , in relation to ‘mouth’ ? ;
  • ‘banquet’ , H4797 mirzach ‘banquet’ 1x ; raz ‘mystery, secret’ (Aram.) ; -razah ‘to starve,
    become lean’ 2x , rezeh , same , 2x ; -marzeach ‘mourning?’ 1x ;
    2) H738 arzah ‘cedar panel’ 1x Zeph. ; “cedar panel shall be removed” (sic!) ; erez ‘cedar’;
    is no root (-zarach) , however (-zarah or -zarach) is a difference of but 1 dot ;
    cedar is always phallic [cedar growing up high into their north] ;
  • ‘stretched’ , H5628 sarach , colour as ‘to extend’, ‘hang over [from a curtain]’,
  • context : corrupted section : too many terms are unsure :
    Esau often worked this way , that he started with a
    key-term (like ‘David’ here) , then moulded the rest
    of (his intended) context aróund the key-term :
    so it can be anything here , even “foolish – mouth”
    (as théir gate) ; while “song” can be “gate” (shor) ,
    relating to “mouth” ;
    cedar panel as phallus : composite term as m+arzah,
    turning to (m-i-rzah) ; the “cedar panel being removed”
    in Zephaniah is close enough to the “disposed of”, here ;
    anointed with oil : as a visual , depicted to right;
    the tree-goddess libates and the candidate drinks ;

  • I) ‘the first who will be deported’ : we haven’t seen any similar line , as of yet ;
    this is very positive (related to a timeframe) , since we gathered the théme in these chapters ,
    which generates the legal right (see Amos 5) ;

line ,
“(the ones dividing?) / (are?) on (account of?) / the mouth  [=’gate?’] – (being) (the harp?) / ,

Daarom zullen zij als eersten in ballingschap gaan ;

(is?) ,

he-swears my-Lord ieue in·soul-of·him averment-of ieue Elohim-of hosts acquiescing
pomp-of Jacob and·citadels-of·him I-hate and·I-surrender-over city and·fullness-of·her
The Lord GOD hath sworn by himself, saith the LORD the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob,
and hate his palaces: therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein

  • ‘abhor’ , H8374 thaab ‘abhor’ 1x ; 8373 -thaab ‘to long for’ 2x psalms ; unclear ;
    thaab-ah ‘long for’ 1x ; H8581 thaab ‘abhor, detest’, many ;
  • ‘palaces’ , H759 armon ‘castle, palace, citadel’ ;
  • context : chapter change : back to Jacob  (‘all believers on this earth’) :
    rather abrupt the chapter turns to ‘this earth’ ; since the previous lines were all
    about “(phallic) physicality” , here must be intended the same (as ‘the pomp’) ;
    adamite-soul : God is not an adamite-soul , so the only option is “about” —
    since it is impossible that he “swears bý the adamite-soul” ;
    likely understood as “his adamite-soul inside our type (phallic) body” ;
  • I) timeframe : following the context , events on this earth will start when that class
    of spirits has been disposed of (as first spirits of all the other ones) ;
    stressing again the importance of the attribute of the House ;

line ,
“myLord – IEUE – (has) sworn – in=about his adamite-souls  [‘of believers’] / ,
(is) the declaration of / IEUE – deity of – hosts / ,
(that) I – abhor – the [physical-]  pomp of – Jacob         [=’all believers on earth’] / ,
and – I hate –  his citadels – and I (will) shut down – the city [‘earth’] – and all that is therein / ;

en ik haat zijn citadellen , en ik zal zijn stad [=’deze aarde’] en al wat daarin is , stopzetten ;

and·he-becomes if they-are-being-left-over ten mortals in·house one and·they-die
and·he-takes-up·him friend-of·him and·one-burning-of·him to·to-bring-forth-of bones
from the·house and·he-says to·whom in·recesses-of the·house ?·still with·you and·he-says
only and·he-says be-quelled ! that not to·to-mention-of in·name-of ieue
And it shall come to pass, if there remain ten men in one house, that they shall die.
And a man’s uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones
out of the house, and shall say unto him that [is] by the sides of the house,
[Is there] yet [any] with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue:
for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD.
‘sides’ , H3411 yerek-ah ‘flank, recesses [of places]’; -yarek ‘thigh’,

  • ‘hold tongue’, H2013 has ‘be silent, to quiten [others], to hush’ ; corruption in order
    to match with ‘mention’ ? [false] ; no other root -has ; in Amos 8 is “[there shall be] many
    dead bodies in every place; they shall cast [them] forth with [for?] silence”, the ‘they’ appear
    to be “non-believers” in the rest of the context – as ‘uncle’, not of same house but related ;
  • ‘mention’ , H2142 zakar ‘to remember’, also as “remember to act” ;
  • context : entire section : sobering theme : the non-believers are released from all believers :
    there exist 8-10 different type commentaries about these lines , none agreeing mutually ;
    first thing is , that it must relate to previous verses (about Jacob) , since there was no
    theme change (by the term “therefore thus…” or similar ;
    uncle and cremating : cremation was practiced by the heathen nations around old-Ishral ,
    therefore ‘cremation’  is Negative ; the “uncle” is properly “from the same wider family ,
    but NOT of the same household” (namely : not the same as Jacob) ;
    it matters not that many commentaries write “the uncle used to do the burial”: how so ? ;
    silence (in this world) : in par with “will not be remembered” ;

line ,
“and it (will) come to pass / ,  +
(that) when / ten – persons  [=’believers’] – left behind – in – one – house / , and they die / ,

For, behold, the LORD commandeth, and he will smite the great house with breaches,
and the little house with clefts. Shall horses run upon the rock? will [one] plow [there] with oxen?
for ye have turned judgment into gall, and the fruit of righteousness into hemlock: Ye which rejoice
in a thing of nought, which say, Have we not taken to us horns by our own strength?
‘smite’ , H5221 nak-ah ‘to smite, to strike’ 501x , also used for a dimension ;
‘breaches’ , H7447 rasiys ‘damp’ 1x ; -rasas ‘to moisten’ 1x ; -rashash ‘(be) demolish’ 2x ; no Akk. ,
‘plow’ , H2790 charash ‘keep or be silent, be dumb ; extention ‘to plough, engrave’ ;
‘gall’ , H7219 rosh ‘poison’, several ;

  • ‘hemlock’ , H3939 laan-ah ‘wormwood’ 8x ; (perhaps from -anah) ; luwn ‘to lodge’;
    Akk. lânu ‘form, shape’ ; wormwood is ‘eaten’, not as to drink ; see other chapter ;
  • ‘horns’ , H7161 qeren ‘horn’ ; “I will also visit the altar(s) of Bethel: and the horns of the altar
    shall be cut off, and fall to the land”, Amos 3 ;
  • context : theme : the road to (the book of) Revelation :
    the theme seems to be two-fold here : there is the concept “iniquity must be full” ,
    in the sense that this world deterioriates  (less people are interested in God) ;
    but that this deterioration is also by deliberate steering into deterioration [compare ‘the uncles’] ;
    horse , rock and plowing : the key to this line is “be silenced” (as previous verses) and “cattle” ,
    turning the horses into the Rev. 6 event , and the “stone” into ‘this earth’ ;
    horns / Qrnaim : difficult to say whether it is symbolical here , or the literal place –
    since the other Amos chapter (and Jer.48) mentions it is a literal seat of power ;
    we consider “acquired this power bý the literal place” ;

line ,
“that=because / behold ! / ,
IEUE – (will) command – and – the great – house – (will be) (demolished?)   [=’as their torso’] / ,
and – the younger [‘smaller’] – house – (will be) cleaved (open)                                [=’as earth’] / :

Want, zie, de Heer gebiedt, en het grote huis treft hij met scheuren en het kleine huis met spleten.
Rennen paarden op een rots ? Ploegt men er met runderen ?
Ja, u hebt recht in gal veranderd , en de vrucht van gerechtigheid in alsem . U, die blij bent
met Lodebar , u, die zegt : hebben wij niet door onze kracht Karnaim voor ons ingenomen ?

“want zie ,
IEUE zal gebieden en het grote huis wordt afgebroken                                      [=’als hun torso’] ,
en het jongere  [‘kleinere’]  huis zal (open-) gescheurd worden :                  [=’als deze aarde’]
zullen niet de paarden naar de rots rennen                                        [=’naar deze aarde , Op. 6’] ,
wanneer het kleinvee  [=’Jakob’, waarschijnlijk]  het zwijgen opgelegd zal worden ? ;
want zij  [=’de niet-gelovigen’]  veranderen recht in vergif                              [=’in deze dagen’] ,
en de vrucht van gerechtigheid in alsem ;
hebben wij niet door onze eigen kracht Qrnaim  [‘horens van kracht’?]  voor ons verkregen ? ;

that behold·me ! raising on·you house-of ishral averment-of ieue Elohim-of the·hosts
nation and·they-oppress you from·to·to-enter-of Hamath unto watercourse-of the·gorge
But, behold, I will raise up against you a nation, O house of Israel, saith the LORD the God of hosts;
and they shall afflict you from the entering in of Hemath unto the river of the wilderness.

‘afflict’ , H3905 lachats ‘proper: to press ; to oppress’,
‘unto’ , H5704 od ‘unto, as far as, while, untill, during, etc’ ;
‘river’ , H5158 nachal ‘wadi, valley, brook’ ; -nachal ‘take possession, inherit’ (sic!) ,

  • context : unusual difficult to spot who is who here ; the stárt of the chapter was about
    “cross-over you to those regions”, so the end (here) must refer to the same theme ;
    from·to·to-enter-of : the construct must refer to the House , being oppressed fór to enter ;
    river / take possession : exact the same root ; we choose version A) ;

line ,
“that=because / behold me ! / ,
raising up – a nation [=’as non-believers’] – on=against you / , house – Ishral  [=’candidates 120,000’] / ,

B)           as far as – the river of – the plateau .
