the “spirits on their ivory beds” as a phallic type spirits , who are the personal enemies of the 120,000 sons of the Ishral house ; and a very sober message at the end ;

  • context : main theme : the house Ishral (as 120,000 sons) coming agáinst this class of spirits :
    in previous chapter the house was exiled , because they was stubborn ;
    this chapter starts anew , telling what the sons will do when they will have learned :
    this class of spirits is raping female-Originals , and ‘eden-feminine’ is the house’s attribute ;
  • 120,000 : all of the Amos chapters deal with
    the house Ishral , therefore we use this number ;
    Samaria : the region of the pillars (oaks) carrying
    their boat , just below the red cube (diagram) ;
    Samaria can be either from the root “dregs”
    (comp. Jer.48) or as “watchtower (on high)” ;
    chiefs of the nations : combined with the
    “beds of ivory” (line 3-4) we identify these as
    the figures lying upon their beds (see to right ,
    destroyed fragment of Gates sixth hour) ,
    the beds related to the abuse of the females ;

  • context : chapter change : description of these spirits :

  • I) the phallic and the ‘abuse’ theme : very ‘veiled’ written :
    we saw how God avoids any term which can describe sexual actions or organs ,
    in one chapter (about porn and man) he describes the organ as “the outgrowth” ,
    and similar language is used towards these spirits (and especially in chapter 4) ;
    hanging ones : not the usual “stretch out, lay down”, but as how a curtain hangs down ;
    see line 5-7 for the used root ;
    calves from the flock : same theme as in Amos 4 , as female-Originals ;
    here however is added “(butting-) rams”, which in another (posted) chapter refer to
    the 144 sons – it’s not clear yet how this could relate to the sóns , if the used term
    is interpreted as ‘masculine’ ;
  • II) the phallic and abuse theme is postpóning Revelation :
    especially Amos 4 shows the relation between the 120,000 sons and this theme –
    the house Ishral is responsible for “protecting eden-feminine”, but as long the
    sons fail and abuse themsélves women (on earth) , as sexual theme ,
    they give the legal right tó these type spirits to continue their abuse of female-Originals :
    with result that “the day of evil for them” is continuously postponed ;
    this is the concept we derive from the chapters of Amos ;
    beds of ivory : see picture in line 1 ; ivory as (shn) here ; pre-eden glyph AB (Jer.48) ;
    ones bringing close : it’s unlikely that ‘you’ was intended (as said to the house) ,
    the syntax can hardly place ‘you’ between a series “the ones..” ,
    and neither is this a punishing-chapter to the house (as the end of ch.5 was) ;

    turning to (m-i-rzah) ; the “cedar panel being removed”
    in Zephaniah is close enough to the “disposed of”, here ;

    stressing again the importance of the attribute of the House ;

    to be “non-believers” in the rest of the context – as ‘uncle’, not of same house but related ;
  • ‘mention’ , H2142 zakar ‘to remember’, also as “remember to act” ;
  • context : entire section : sobering theme : the non-believers are released from all believers :
    there exist 8-10 different type commentaries about these lines , none agreeing mutually ;
    first thing is , that it must relate to previous verses (about Jacob) , since there was no
    theme change (by the term “therefore thus…” or similar ;
    uncle and cremating : cremation was practiced by the heathen nations around old-Ishral ,
    therefore ‘cremation’  is Negative ; the “uncle” is properly “from the same wider family ,
    but NOT of the same household” (namely : not the same as Jacob) ;
    it matters not that many commentaries write “the uncle used to do the burial”: how so ? ;
    silence (in this world) : in par with “will not be remembered” ;

    the theme seems to be two-fold here : there is the concept “iniquity must be full” ,
    in the sense that this world deterioriates  (less people are interested in God) ;
    but that this deterioration is also by deliberate steering into deterioration [compare ‘the uncles’] ;
    horse , rock and plowing : the key to this line is “be silenced” (as previous verses) and “cattle” ,
    turning the horses into the Rev. 6 event , and the “stone” into ‘this earth’ ;
    horns / Qrnaim : difficult to say whether it is symbolical here , or the literal place –
    since the other Amos chapter (and Jer.48) mentions it is a literal seat of power ;

Ja, u hebt recht in gal veranderd , en de vrucht van gerechtigheid in alsem . U, die blij bent
met Lodebar , u, die zegt : hebben wij niet door onze kracht Karnaim voor ons ingenomen ?

IEUE zal gebieden en het grote huis wordt afgebroken                                      [=’als hun torso’] ,
en het jongere  [‘kleinere’]  huis zal (open-) gescheurd worden :                  [=’als deze aarde’] 
zullen niet de paarden naar de rots rennen                                        [=’naar deze aarde , Op. 6’] ,
wanneer het kleinvee  [=’Jakob’, waarschijnlijk]  het zwijgen opgelegd zal worden ? ;
want zij  [=’de niet-gelovigen’]  veranderen recht in vergif                              [=’in deze dagen’] ,
en de vrucht van gerechtigheid in alsem ;
als degenen die blij zijn in Lo-Dabar          [=’plaats van niét het concept in de goede richting’] ,
degenen die zeggen :
hebben wij niet door onze eigen kracht Qrnaim  [‘horens van kracht’?]  voor ons verkregen ? ;

  • context : unusual difficult to spot who is who here ; the stárt of the chapter was about
    “cross-over you to those regions”, so the end (here) must refer to the same theme ;
    from·to·to-enter-of : the construct must refer to the House , being oppressed fór to enter ;
    river / take possession : exact the same root ; we choose version A) ;
