Dan. 8 : the ram & goat :
the ram carries the eden gate
but the goat vampires upon it
for his worldtree and M-Babylon
‘until the appointed time’
[final version ; 2022-06jun.04]
[June 21 :
fulltext is complete (restored text not yet) ;
chapter 9 is surprisingly complex – though we
consider text admissable for final version now ;
70 years :
see line 26 , probably ’70 Jubilee years’ since
eden’s fall is the subject here – and see Zech 1 ;
but indeed it is confusing per the ‘weeks’ theme ;
[/end]
to right : the eden gate and their copied one , where the copied gate sits upon the goat horn and from that gate emerge the four false (matrix-) cardinal points described in Zech 1 as ’the four horns’ aka ’the four horses’ ; on top of that gate is Mystery-Babylon — see also Rev. 4 chapter |

the preferred main subject : the plundered eden gate
… interpreting the text is a tricky job
and even more so when crucial sections have been corrupted —
the theme here can never be “kings of Greece and Media”
because only chapter 11 describes ‘2500 years of wordly events’ ,
yet Esau thankfully used that to diffuse the theme here ;
the (eden-) ram carrying the gate … previous chapter 7 – the four beasts – already touched upon the gate theme where the concept of evil realm in the north was described ; but per many prophets the key to her downfall is ’the gate theme’ , and we interpreted this chapter accordingly |
![]() ![]() |
the goat from the West ‘not touching the ground’
… the West is the evil dimension
as opposed to Heaven in the far-east (’the sunrise’) and the West probably
came into being after the archangel we now know as Satan had fallen out
from Heaven : scripture does not mention that event (Is. 14 is about Adam)
but the book Henoch gives us some information :
he describes how inbetween Heaven and the West is a dualistic realm
having a northern half as the ‘masculine’ Behemoth and a southern half as
the ‘feminine’ Leviathan — where an Isaiah chapter names these ’two dragons’ ;
and in the centre between these two God founded the eden realm ;
Henoch then visits the West on his journey and mentions that he sees there
“a light which pursues all the other lights” :
the phrase is ofcourse obscure but does make sense in the depiction below —
the Amduat book : Râ entering from the West … in the depiction the lower level is ‘eden’ , the centre region is a by them created region (in prophets named as ‘Assyria’) and the upper region is their region Mystery-Babylon as the for us invisible realm in this solarplane ; the god Râ – as the archetype of ’this sun’ and compare what Enoch said – stands upon on his boat as coming from the West and though he has ram’s horns the comparison with a he-goat per this chapter is striking ; … that “the goat did not touch the ground” shows in Râ arriving through the middle-register which the spells call ’the hidden land’ – see index ; |
![]() ![]() |
also the pre-Hindu Rg-Veda mentions the invasion of Eden by the West : she describes the buildup of a huge army in the West consisting of the most capable war chariots and demon warriors under guidance of a mysterious figure called ’the horse-head’ : per context it should be Satan and if we ever have time (-still) we’ll need to translate those stanzas ; in this chapter Daniel 8 it explains why the ram “pushes to (=resists) the West” because Eden factually is a bridgehead of Heaven agáinst the West ; and in this context we added “by ruling the north and the south (-dualistic realm)” ; moreover , we interpreted “that the ram fell because of the transgression” , read : after Adam and Eve committed the first sin ; |
the occupied (eden-) gate and Amduat five
… please see depiction above —
though we’ve made an attempt to translate the text in the mural ,
crucial sections have been damaged and the text is full of ‘puns’
hindering a solid understanding —
the mural seems to depict an (already-) occupied eden gate
since the oval is placed in the lower register – the eden realm ;
notable are the two lions at both sides supporting the gate
which immediately reminds of the two horns of the ram ,
making a link to ’the two olive-trees at the gate’ in Zecheriah
(and compare the visual depiction of the ram above) ;
yet it is unlikely that both lions were an éden aspect —
likely both are part of the occupation and the original carriers
of the gate were ’the two passages with doors’ to left and to right :
Mystery-Babylon and her world-tree – as subthemes | |
… because this chapter refers to the endtime as the time when the evil region will fall , the main theme must be ’the gate’ which the 144 will need to understand — for this reason we interpreted several lines as their stealing – vampiring – upón the eden gate, based upon the remained roots within the text ; |

fulltext [-of part II] :
1
then another vision appears to me , Daniel ,
after the previous one which appeared to me ;
2
and in this vision I am in Shushan ,
standing by the river Ulai ;
3
and when I lift up my eyes and look , behold ! ,
a ram is standing before the river ;
the ram has two high horns
and they carry [d-e : attempt – but see line 10]
the host as the star
being the portal (=stargate) (?) of the land (=eden) (?) ;
4
and I see the ram pushing towards the west , [<< evil dimension]
by ruling the north + [<< the dualistic north / Behemoth]
and the south ; [<< the Leviathan-realm / the deep-south]
not any of the animals could stand before him
and none could rescue from his hand ; [<< invincible]
[attempt :]
but the transgression (?) + [<< the apple , see line 12]
would make him to fall (?) ;
5
so while I am pondering this , behold ! ,
a hairy he goat is coming from the west [<< see Râ]
across the suface of the land ,
yet he does not touch the ground ;
and the goat has a notable horn between his eyes ;
6
and he comes towards the ram having two horns
6a : or :
and he comes towards the ram carrying the host (=gate) ,
which I saw standing before the canal ,
as running to him in the fury of his power ;
7
then I see him attacking the side of the ram ,
and he is so bitter against] him that he strikes the ram +
and breaks his two horns ;
and the ram is not able to withstand him
for he is being cast down to the ground and trampled upon ,
and the ram is not delivered from his hand ;
8
then the horn of the he goat grows high ,
and out from the host (?) + [<< matrix gate]
which is upon his great horn
come up four notable horns +
towards the four winds of heaven ; [<< cardinal points]
9
and from the main one comes forth a horn +
having the likeness of (?) a city (?) , [<< Mystery-Babylon]
and she magnified herself greatly
and pushed towards the sunrise [<< the east as Heaven]
and towards the pleasant [-land] (=eden) ;
10
now therefore she waxes great +
because of her own host (=gate) ,
trampling the host as the star of the land (=eden) ;
11
because she continually steals + [<< or : daily]
the (eden-) aspects of the main host , [<< of the eden gate]
as plundering the sanctuary of the land (=eden) ;
12
because the host + [<< the eden gate]
is continually given to her [<< to Mystery-Babylon]
since the transgression , [<< the apple]
[probably – per context :]
and she plunders (?) the gate (?) of the land
and she prospers by doing it ;
13
then I hear a holy one speaking ,
saying to another holy one :
until when will be the continuous stealing
as the desolation since the transgression [<< the apple]
when the sanctuary as the host was given to trampling ? ;
14
and he says to him : [unsure ; but compare line 25]
[attempt :]
until the sealed scroll will be opened
at the end of the seventy [+years] ;
b-c2 : or :
when the sealed scroll will be opened ,
then the sanctuary (=gate) will be restored ;
15
and it so happened ,
when I Daniel had seen the vision
and was trying to make sense of it ,
that behold ! , a person appeared , standing in front of me ;
16
then I hear the voice of someone +
between – [the banks of-] the Ulai calling him . saying :
Gabriel , explain the vision to this one (=this man) ;
17
so he comes near to where I stand ,
but I get afraid and fall down on my face ;
yet he says to me : understand , son of (the adm-) man ,
that it is not the énd of the vision ;
18
now while he speaks to me
I am unconscious , with my face to the ground ,
but he touches me and sets me straight up again ;
[the explanation :]
19
and he says : behold ! ,
I (will) inform you what has happened after this ,
and will be until the appointed time [see diagram !] in the end :
20
[the probable line :]
the ram which you saw was the represent of eden ,
having two horns [..as the ones supporting the (eden-) gate..] ;
21
and the hairy male goat [21 a-b : think Râ]
was the represent of the West , [<< evil dimension]
and the great horn which was between his eyes
would become their main cedar (-tree) ; [<< worldtree]
22
and after that one had split up ,
four stood out (-wards) from their place
as the four winds of heaven [<< Zech. 1 ‘the four horns’]
but not in their (-own) power ; [<< stolen from eden]
[23-24-25 : very likely :]
23
and above them
the nations (=of spirits) completed their kingdom ,
as the wicked mother of harlots + [<< Revelation]
called Babylon [+ ’the great’?] ;
the one skillful in sorcery ;
24
and she became mighty through her power [<< sorcery]
by continually plundering eden
as making her desolate ; [<< see next ch. 9]
[b : the probable line :]
and she prospered by (having) made +
[..1x..] – the mighty=land (‘earth’) (otsm=arts) (?) +
[+and] (?) – the holy=idols (‘body’) (?) – [+for] [+your] people ;
25
and through her cunningness
she will cause deceit to prosper in [=their] hand=hearts (iad=lbb)
[=by] [..] (making) them to magnify=forget – [..] [=their] heart=(adm-) ground
b [see ‘mystery of iniquity’ Dan. 9]
because she will corrupt the words of the scroll
in order to oppose the sons of Ishral ; [<< 144]
25c
[w/ swapped ? :]
[=but] – the hand=city – [+and] [+her] limit=gate – (will be) destroyed +
26
[..] at the end of the seventy years [<< Zech. 1 + others]
[+when] the sons will understand the vision
[=and] will have opened the sealed scroll ;
yet that will be for many days (-to come) ;
27
afterwards , I Daniel was ill for days (-because of this) ,
then I rose up and attended to the king’s business ;
wondering when the vision would be understood .
(end of chapter 8)
Daniel 8
1-2
In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me,
[even unto] me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.
And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I [was] at Shushan
[in] the palace, which [is] in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision,
and I was by the river of Ulai. [skipped the superfluous :]
1
[=then] – [..4x..] – a (-nother) – vision – appeared – to me , [..] Daniel ,
after – the [=previous] (-one) – (which-) appeared – to me ;
2
and [..1x..] – in (this-) vision – [+I] was – [..1x..] – [..] in Shushan ,
b
[..6x..] – was=standing – [=by] – the river – Ulai ;
note :
… considered his location – per the chapter theme –
his location ‘Shushan’ (‘lotus’) can represent ‘Eden’ in the south-east ;
[probably : the ram carrying the (eden-) gate :]
3
Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before
the river a ram which had [two] horns: and the [two] horns [were] high;
but one [was] higher than the other, and the higher came up last.
3
and (when) I lift up – my eyes – and look , [..] behold ! ,
b
a – ram – (is) standing – before – the river ;
c
[..] the him=ram (u·l·u=ail) (has) – horns=two – high – horns
–
d [d-e : attempt – but see line 10]
and [+they] one=carry +
the higher=host (gbe=tsb) – then=as – [..1x..] – the high=star (gbe=kkb)
e
(being-) +
the came=portal (?) (ole=dlth) of – the (eden-) last=land (?) (achr=arts) ;
note :
… ’the second horn came up later’ is a non-theme ;
ofcourse the restored phrases could vary as long the idea stays intact ;
the phrase “portal” is unsure but we need sóme reference to “a gate” ;
4
I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward;
so that no beasts might stand before him, neither [was there any]
that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will,
and became great.
4
and I see – the ram – pushing – towards the west (‘sea’) (evil dimension) ,
b
and=by – [+ruling] – the north [<< dualistic north as Behemoth]
and the south ; [<< the Leviathan-realm as the deep-south]
c
not – any of – the animals – (could) stand – before him
and none – (could) rescue – from his hand ; [<< invincible]
d
[=but] the do=transgression (?) (osh=phsho) + [<< the apple , see 12]
[..1x..] – (would make) him to great=fall (?) (gdl=nphl) ;
5
And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west
on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground:
and the goat [had] a notable horn between his eyes.
5
and=so (while) I – am – pondering (-this) , [..] behold ! ,
b
a [=hairy] – he goat – (is) coming – from – the west [<< see Râ]
c
[=across] – the suface of – [..] the land ,
d
[=yet] he (does) – not – touch – the land (‘ground’) ;
e
and the goat – (has) a notable – horn – between – his eyes ;
6
And he came to the ram that had [two] horns, which I had seen standing
before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power
6
and he comes – [=towards] the ram – having – (two-) horns
6a : or :
and he comes +
[=towards] – the ram – carrying (bol=bo) – the host (qrnm=tsb) ,
b
which – I saw – standing – before – the canal ,
[=as] running – to him – in the fury of – his power ;
7
And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler
against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was
no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground,
and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.
7
[=then] I see him – [=attacking] – the side of – the ram ,
b
and he (is) (so) bitter – [=against] him – [=that] he strikes – the ram +
c
and breaks – his – two – horns ;
d
and (the ram-) – is – not (able) – to withstand – [..] him
e
[=for] he (is being) cast down – to the [=ground] – and trampled upon ,
f
and – the ram – is – not – delivered – from his hand ;
[their world-tree : and from their gate emerge their 4 winds :]
8
Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong,
the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones
toward the four winds of heaven.
[8 a-c : probably :]
8
[=then] – the [=horn] of – the he goat – grows high ,
b
until=and – (out-) very=from – the strong=host (?) (otsm=tsb) +
c
broken=which (is) (shbr=ashr) – [+upon] [+his] great – horn
d
come up – four – notable – horns +
e
[=towards] – the four – winds of – heaven ; [<< cardinal points]
note :
… we need very much the concept ’that the goats horn álso has a gate’
as a theme that will be continued in the next lines ; compare the glyph
NGA in top of page and the posted spells about “the 4 winds of heaven” ;
per context ,
it isn’t lógical ’that the horn breaks’ – while (-tsb) is very close to (otsm) ;
[now ‘a city’ as Mystery-Babylon appears (?) :]
9
And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding
great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant [land].
9
and from – the (main-) one – [..1x..] – comes forth – a – horn +
b
from=(having) the likeness of (?) (m=dm) – a little=city (?) (tsoir=oir) ,
c
and she magnified (-herself) – greatly
d
to=and – south=pushed – [..] [=towards] – the sunrise (=east as Heaven)
e
and [=towards] the pleasant [-land] (‘eden’) ;
note :
… difficult line — question is IF ‘a city’ was intended here ;
the “pushing towards Heaven” (being hostile against Heaven” seems valid
eventhough in the previous line it was the ram itself doing the pushing ;
9 e) : ‘pleasant [-land]’ ,
hard to say what the line may have written ; ‘eden’ would match
somehow ‘heaven’ yet the root may have been ‘host’ (-tsb) ;
[the matrix gate trampling the eden gate :]
10
And it waxed great, [even] to the host of heaven; and it cast down
[some] of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.
10
(now-) and=therefore she waxes great +
unto=because of – [+her] (-own) host (‘gate’) – [..1x..] ,
b
[..] cast=trampling (thphl=thrms) – [..1x..] – [..] the host +
c
and=as [..] – the star – (of) the stamped=land (‘eden’) (thrms=arts) ;
11
Yea, he magnified [himself] even to the prince of the host, and by him
the daily [sacrifice] was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary
was cast down
11
[=because] – [=she] – continually (‘daily’) – magnified=steals +
b (gdl=gzl !)
the (eden-) taken=aspects of – the prince=main – host (‘eden gate’) ,
c (rum=dbr) (shr=rsh)
[=as] cast=plundering – the sanctuary of – the place=land (‘eden’) ;
(shlk=shdd)
note :
… the ‘sanctuary of the land’ must be correct : in Revelation the place of
God’s throne must be the Gate [and we adapt the mistake that thunder
and lightning came out of the temple — which should be ‘sanctuary’] ;
12
And an host was given [him] against the daily [sacrifice] by reason of
transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised,
and prospered.
12
[=because] the host (‘eden gate’) +
[..1x..] – (is) continually (‘daily’) – given [+to her] (‘Mystery-Babylon’)
in=since the transgression , [<< the apple]
[tricky :]
b
and she cast=plunders (?) – the truth=gate (?) – (of) the land
and she prospers – [=by] doing (-it) ;
13
Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain
[saint] which spake, How long [shall be] the vision [concerning] the daily
[sacrifice], and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary
and the host to be trodden under foot?
13
[=then] I hear – a – holy one – speaking ,
saying – [+to] [=another] – holy one – [..2x..] :
b
until – when (=how long) – (will be) the continuous – vision=stealing
c
[=as] the desolation – [+since] the transgression (=the apple)
d
[+when] the sanctuary – [=as] the host – (was) given – (to) trampling ? ;
14
And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days;
then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
14
and he said – to [=him] : [unsure ; but compare line 25]
[attempt :]
b
until – the hundered=sealed – [..1x..] – thousand=scroll
(mauth=chtem) (alphim=sphr)
(will be) evening=opened (orb=phrsh)
c
[=at] the cleansed=end of – the sanctuary=seventy – [+years] ;
(ntsdq=qts) (mqdsh=shboi)
b-c2 : or :
[=when] the hundred=sealed – [..1x..] – thousand=scroll
(will be) evening=opened – [..1x..] :
[=then] – the sanctuary (‘gate’) – (will be) cleansed=restored ;
note :
… question is what the line intended to say :
it can hardly be “2300 mornings and evenings” — many have searched
to explain this as some year in the 1800’ds AD ;
the “70 (long-) years (-count)” is also problematic [but see Zech. 1 and
a possible Dan. 9] but because Esau appereantly saw some timeframe
which he consequently corrupted , we must have some kind of timeline
linking to the opened scroll (and compare line 25) ;
part II — the explanation
15-16
And it came to pass, when I, [even] I Daniel, had seen the vision,
and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me
as the appearance of a man. And I heard a man’s voice between
[the banks of] Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this
[man] to understand the vision.
15
and it so happened ,
[=when] – I – Daniel – (had) seen – the vision
and (was) trying – to make sense (-of it) ,
b
[=that] behold ! ,
a person – appeared , standing – in front of me ;
16
[=then] I hear – the voice of – someone +
b
between – [the banks of-] the Ulai – [..] calling (-him) . saying :
c
Gabriel , explain – the vision – to this one (’this man’) ;
17-18
So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid,
and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man:
for at the time of the end [shall be] the vision.
Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face
toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.
17
[=so] he comes – near – to (where-) I stand ,
b
[=but] I (get) afraid – and fall (-down) – on – my face ;
c
[=yet] he says – to me : understand , son of – (the adm-) man ,
d
that – (it is) time=not (oth=la) – the end of – the vision ;
18
[=now] [=while] he speaks – [=to] me
b
I (am) unconscious , [=with] my face – to the ground ,
c
[=but] he touches – [..] me – and sets me straight up – [=again] ;
note :
… a bit strange and seemingly superfluous event here —
the only thing that makes sense to us is that the concept of
“something will be lifted up (-on high)” is depicted here as help
for to understand the rést of the chapter
(because God ofcourse knew that this one would be corrupted) ;
2.
… that the term (-adm) appears may be coincidence , because he
doesn’t appear to be the subject in other chapters (however the
similarity with Zech. 1 is a bit uncanny) ;
[the situation – until ’the appointed time’ :]
19
And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last
end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end [shall be].
19
and he says : behold ! ,
b
I (will) inform you – [=what] – (has) happened – [..] after – [=this] ,
c (zom=zath)
and will be +
for=until (!) the appointed time [see diagram !] – [+in] the end : +
note :
… an important line : the ‘appointed time’ returns in next chapters
but also refers to the end of this 8 — namely the moment when the
144 will open the seal of the scroll
(eventhough there is said ‘but that will be many days still’) ;
2.
… Zechariah 1 writes “menace” in relation to “70 years” and that
menace can be kept in mind here but falls out of the translation ;
[the ram – eden :]
20
The ram which thou sawest having [two] horns
[are] the kings of Media and Persia
20
the ram – which – you saw , having – two – horns ,
b
(was) the [=represent of?] – media=eden (mdi=odn) – [..1x..] ;
c
[…… Esau must have deleted a few terms …..]
[the probably garbled up 20 :]
the ram which you saw (was) [=the represent of?] media=eden ,
having two horns [..as the ones supporting the (eden-) gate..] (?)
note :
… Esau doctored this line — the ram itsélf must be ‘something’
and the only thing he can represent is – per context – eden ;
the goat’s horn (in next 21) is “their cedar axis”
and the only option we have for both ram’s horns
is the double (eden-) axis to the eden-gate (above the eden land)
likely culminating in “the two olive trees” inthere
(see Zecheriah and the entire gate section in index) ;
it’s almost impossible to restore the above :
“… and his two horns supported the (eden-) gate…” ? ;
but the problem is that “the gate theme” is not further explained ;
however – a ‘gate upon horns’ theme
may have served for to understand ‘Mystery-Babylon upon the cedar’
futheron in this chapter – as a concept completely corrupted by Esau !
… so in that sense not ’the gate’ as such was important (-here)
but only to clarify the intended description of Mystery-Babylon
(and see line 18 : likely that also was intended to support this theme) ;
[the goat – the evil West :]
21
And the rough goat [is] the king of Grecia:
and the great horn that [is] between his eyes [is] the first king.
21
and – the hairy – male goat + [21 a-b : think Râ]
b
(was) the [=represent of?] – the greece=West (ivn=marb) ,
c
and – the great – horn – which (was) – between – his eyes
d
(would) he=become – [+their] main – king=cedar (-tree) (‘axis’) ;
(eua=eie) (mlk=erz)
note :
21 b) : the West (-dimension) ;
as opposed to ’the sunrise’ [=Heaven] in the (far-) east ;
we can’t think of any term proper that may have preceeded ‘west’
because ‘deity / king / angel / being’ also have a wrong colour ;
21 d) : cedar tree ;
often used in prophets to denote their main axis ;
[the four (stolen-) cardinal points of their world-tree :]
22
Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms
shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power
22
and [+after] (that-) one (had) broken=split up (shbr=bdl) ,
b
[..] four – stood out (-wards) – from [=their] place
c
[+as] the four – kingdoms=winds of – nation=heaven [<< Zech. 1]
d (mlkth=rchth) (gum=shmn)
[=but] not – in [=their] (-own) power ; [<< stolen from eden]
note :
… totally true – see “the four winds” spells ! , as stolen from eden ;
in Zech 1 those cardinal points are “the four horns (being cut-off)” ;
end
>>>> next 9 : Daniel combines eden’s and earth’s situation
