Hag. 2 : History of the Soul :
separated from her Original
now in this body on this earth ;
the 144 find His words
+ the great Promise

[was utterly corrupted]

[3d (!) attempt :
definitely one of the deepest corrupted chapters of prophets ;
searching for the main context we even considered the theme as ‘Eden’
but subtile phrases must decide in favour of the “our Originals” theme]

                                                             main theme

                           continuing the theme of Haggai 1 – very nice chapter this

original text : horribly corrupted
and presumably in a rather late time ;
note : final 5 lines :
only an outline given ; they are not crucial

Haggai 2

the subject now is “the sons who will be part of the áctual 144” : you and we :
In the seventh [month], in the one and twentieth [day] of the month,
came the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai, saying,
Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son
of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,
[skipped – because ongoing theme :]
[+then] the word of – IEUE – becomes – [=to] (..) – Haggai , saying :
[+now] say , please , to – [..1x..] the sons of – [..10x !..] – the remnant of – the people ,
saying :

theme : the Originals + we ; and God is very straightforward , grin :
Who [is] left among you that saw this house in her first glory?
and how do ye see it now?  [is it] not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?
who – [=of] you – left=desires – [..1x..] to see=meet – [=his] (-own) – glorious – house=flesh ?

and=as ‘something pretty like you have never seen before’ ? ;                     [<< as we would say]

note :
– 3a : the “who of you” is always ‘a context in which the 144 have to DO something”
  (compare just posted Is.20+21 , or Mal. 1 “who of you will close the gate”, etc) ;

next , but it will come with a condition :
Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech,
the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work:
for I [am] with you, saith the LORD of hosts:
[According to] the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt,
so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not
For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it [is] a little while, and I will shake the heavens,

note :
– 4c : the ‘recompence’ ; as “some price to pay” ; especially a theme in Isaiah where is
  explained how Christ has paid , the 144 did – and Jacob will , too (Laodicea) ;
– 5 :
  the ‘good ones between the bad ones’ : as a phrase in several prophets
  or also the version “the humble ones standing inbetween the evil ones” ;
  the term may have been ‘humble’ here because this will return in later lines ;

next , the wider 144,000 are collected (as timeframe theme) :
And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come:
and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.

in 8 : ‘lord of hosts’
in 9 : ‘lord of hosts’, ‘lord of hosts’ ; totally impossible , that many – we’ll need to choose ;

next , the only (textual-) option now : they come to tsiun and are restored :

                                  part II      ‘teaching the soul’

                            … all above was “the sweet (-promise)” – now follows the “sour”,
                            explaining what that ‘shaking’ is about and why it is necessary :
In the four and twentieth [day] of the ninth [month], in the second year of Darius,
came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests [concerning] the law, saying,
If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread,
or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No
Then said Haggai, If [one that is] unclean by a dead body touch any of these,
shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.
Then answered Haggai, and said, So [is] this people, and so [is] this nation before me,
saith the LORD; and so [is] every work of their hands; and that which they offer there [is] unclean.

note :
– 12-13 : “hear the voice” :
      not as literal – or even ‘spiritual’ – hearing ; but a kind of “suddenly seeing” where
      certain words go and what root was intended to get a context ; if you realize that the
      ordinary male’s mind runs rampant with hidden violence- or sexual pictures
      (while ’the word’ is typically ‘feminine’) you see the problem addressed in Amos —
      it’s a lot of work for God to get a male soul separated and humble , and it is no
      coincidence that their realm (cq Adam) gave the male soul such ‘dumb bull’ type body ;

but – and now specific :
15-16-17-18      [running very smooth …]
And now, I pray you, consider from this day and upward,

… we left this section in past-tense
because of hope that today or tomorrow we go
– and see below ;

[still 5 lines]             —————————————————–          Legal end of translation

– we now covered the gist of both chapters
   and there can be three themes still in these final (-surprisingly difficult) lines 19-23 :
         the actual restoration of the 144
        + a possible timeframe (-the ’third year’ one ?) , comp. “from this day I will bless you”
         and – after shaking the heavens – the restoration of Jacob
… but you see that it’s hard to make a logical buildup in these :
is 21-23 about “sending the 144 back to earth , as the witnesses to Jacob” ?
