Haggai 2 : declaring this moon ;
God will act in the ninth month

a most peculiar chapter , but we think we have the interpretation right
yet requiring a [rather long-] introduction to show the themes ;
or please go – uninformed – to the translation (click here)
(note : a fulltext will not be available because of the nature of this theme)

 

 

searching the theme [-of Haggai 1 & 2]

… the only theme really standing out is in this chapter 2 ,
as a certain timeframe which is twice repeated ,
now as ‘threefold phrase’ indicating – to us – “pay close attention ! important !” ;
– but what can be the setting ?
 
the three sections within Haggai 1 and 2 :
… timeframes divide both chapters in three sections –
the first section is Haggai 1 ,
the second this Haggai 2 lines 1-9 ,
and the third this Haggai 2 line 10 until the end ;
 
comparing the sections :
… shows a progressive theme – or rephrased : a progressive timeframe ,
culminating in the twice repeated date in the third section ;

 
establishing the triple date warning : as the end of days :
 
‘Darius’ :
… though – outwardly – the theme seems ‘the Babylonian captivity’
because of the repeating lines “…in the year of Darius”
(where Darius typically represents the one who ordered an énd to that captivity) ,
it can just as well be a situation as a foreshadowing of the time of the end ;
note ,
how both the “in the (x) year of his reign” is álso progressive ;
 
Haggai :
… literally “celebration” , from verb “to gather for a festival” ,
now what festival that can be but ONLY the time that He will rescue us …?
 
therefore – by context – defining Haggai 1 [-as first section] :
… as the time in the end when God will START his rescue operation —
therefore , per definition , chapter 1 must start with “waking up the 144” ,
and if you closely read – inbetween the corrupted text –
line 1 writes “speak about the house of Ishral and Judah” ,
line 2 , “the time HAS come that they awaken”       (not: ‘built’)
and further lines describe
how the 144 will be vexed , until they will search in the prophets what He réally said
(this is a reoccuring theme in many prophets) ,
and Haggai 1 ends with line 14 ,
how “both houses UNDERSTOOD THE WORDS of their deity” (not: ‘did work in the house’)

 
therefore , the theme of this chapter 2 [-as section 2 and 3] :
 
… the sons háve understood the message in prophets (in chapter 1)
– BUT now ,
they face a problem which they had not expected (in line 3 here) ,
and this is related to a certain timeframe called “the 7th month” ;
– while
in section three this particular problem will be resolved :
yet here it is related to a timeframe called “the 9th month” (=moon theme !) ;
 
– but whát can be ‘the PROBLEM’…? (plus Is. 22 and 45 theme) :
… to be fair ,
the ‘problem’ cannot be derived from this very corrupted Haggai 2 ;
however – Isaiah 22 has a strikingly similar buildup :
“persons wail” , “asking why and what” (see line 3 here) ,
“then these persons need to act” upon which “follows a promise” ;
now ,
we know that the subject is the 144 , as the ones who understood prophets —
therefore there is only 1 option here (as well as in Isaiah 22) :
they missed something , overlooked something !
 
… and this “overlooking” is related to “the 7th month” ,
while the discóvery is linked to “the 9th month” !
in either case – some ‘month’ (=moon) theme is prevalent ;

 
the discovery : ‘the moon of this earth’
 
… again – that cannot be directly distilled from this corrupted Haggai 2 ,
and neither from the corrupted Isaiah 22 , for that matter —
the subject was given by a series of related themes and aspects ,
and yes as “I will whisper (-it) in their ears” as stated in Isaiah 22 ;
and now there appeared a workable subject ,
it is possible to translate (also-) this chapter under that same light —
see this page how that worked out ;
 
(1) we’ve declared ‘this sun’ – why need to declare ‘this moon’ also ? :
… though we’d need to check them again ,
the Isaiah ‘sun chapters’ state “how Adam devised this sun” ,
and how it will go dark when God will cut off the watercourse feeding it ;
but indeed it hadn’t crossed our mind to investigate ‘this moon’, as well
… perhaps because it did not seem important
 
(2) per this chapter : the moon seems to ‘imprison the souls of Jacob (-on this earth)’ :
we must tread carefully here :
… first , stressing that this is NOT the theme “Christ will save souls who accepted Him” ,
because that is a FACT and is true for the souls of the 144 just as it is for the souls of Jacob ,
so this (moon-) theme must be about something élse :
namely “the escape of the 144 from this earth” — by declaring this moon

… this chapter tells “how this moon sustains the flesh” as “the garment for the soul” ,
but that “the soul is unclean” because of this situation ,
read : this moon indirectly makes the soul unclean
… which – to us – seems a valid reason to have to declare this moon …

disclaimer :
… we do not pretend to understand everything about this theme – we don’t ;
we can only show you what our interpretation of the text looks like ,
after most carefully having considered what it originally can have said

finally , the key question :

the ‘ninth month’ : this Dec 4 ? Dec 19 ? other ?

… because the sons came to understánd scripture already (Haggai 1) ,
they knew about “the third year after understanding them” :
hence the REASON WHY they were so disappointed “in the seventh month” (line 15) ;
it follows
that indeed we kept the (now past-) October 6th as “the day of the trumpet” ,
as this day is written to happen on the first of the seventh month ;
which was … a bummer – exactly like this chapter describes ;

because of the buildup of Haggai 1 and 2 ,
chapter 1 must start with “… in the FIRST year of Darius” ,
namely in the year when the 144 were awakened and started to understand prophets ,
while “the 7th month” (in this chapter 2) must be the THIRD year ,
since they knew that the deliverance would happen in the THIRD year
… right ?

meaning that “the 9th month” is part of that (=this) same third year ,
which in our case corresponds to the next 30 days starting December 4

… though the text shows “the 24th of the ninth month” , this is likely corrupted ,
since it is foreign to the “1st or 15th” mentioned in the scriptural feasts ;
we (hR) chose to translate “the first of the ninth month”
because in this way it would link to “the uneventful 1st day of the 7th month” ,
but , please ,
it is ofcourse clear that this is an assumption from our part ,
and we certainly cannot determine WHAT date has been intended :
… all we have is – per the text itself – a rather sure “9th month timeframe”

b) since "understanding scripture" was the preceding theme ,
    something can have been overlooked by us ;
c) in next lines a buildup starts ,
as "be strong, strength"  (line 4) ,
then "shake heavens and earth" (line 6) , so some celestial theme
(and this phrase is repeated at the end of this chapter) ,
then , weirdly ,
in line 12 and 13 -qdsh (‘holy’) appears – but can be -chdsh "moon"…? :
note the many allusions in Haggai to "the (x) month" ;
and yes this would tie into the Isaiah 22 chapter ;

… in spite of searching the net (-which Esau has limited very much for us)
we fail to find more about the original theme concerning the relation between
Saturn , this moon , and how the latter – by cymatic – guides lifeforms ;
however
we found a couple of videos from TheThunderboltProject   —
in this YTchannel you can also find information about petroglyphs
which have depicted the Birkeland-current , which is the world tree ;
and though ofcourse we don’t agree with their basic assumption
that ALL of this solarplane can be explained "by the electric model",
