Jn.7 : waiting to go to the feast
since Atonement is the 14th !
if we declare that , He returns
at the next feast Tabernacles !
[+explaining ‘the mirror of feasts’]

[version ; 2024-10oct.19-   ]

john 7
Jn 7

                                                                                 theme : amazing

      … why “Christ first did NOT go up to the feast of Tabernacles , but later He DID”.. ?
      what was the logical réal reason for that – and not the contrived unclear KJV one ?
      why the first lines show “something hidden + to know” as well as “not + the right + time”
      where all these words are a Red flag in the theme we search right now :
      what if He waited because ‘the true date of Atonement was the 14th – nót the 10th’  ?

      … part I (1-13) runs very well ,
      where “the enacting the theme” is most helpful for us : He knéw we would ask “why then”
      while ‘the waiting’ pushes the Atonement date up to being the start óf Tabernacles ;
      moreover , the buildup is such ,
      that you & we will re-install Atonement properly so that He will return the next feast ,
      and see line 8 how Atonement and Tabernacles show side-by-side ; saying similar to
      what we already found in Mk.13 (Mt.24) that if the date is nót restored He won’t return …

                                                         part II (14-73+)   [-but in progress]

      … first : He did not “go up to the Temple in the midst of the (Tabernacles-) feast” but this
      feast was stárting at that point in time ! where the enacting is “entering the tabernacle” !
      then follows a long discourse until “the final great day of that feast” (in 37) ,
      which is important for us to know since that can be the day He returns , however the
      discourse until that line is very long (22 lines !) and will cause us much problems   —

      we first need an idea of ‘whát can have been the main theme’ :
      probably as “explaining the now broken Spring & Fall mirror becáuse of the 10th”
      (please see recent page) also as reason for the event in part I ;
      and indeed ‘Moses’ shows , then “I will go up” and finally “I will retúrn” so that the core
      of the ‘Spring & Fall mirror’ seems to be present — but it will be much work
      [and the question is ‘do we try it , this final week — or search this theme in prophets’ ?
      because why we haven’t seen it there (-yet) ? or was it for example also hidden in the
      ’12 stones’ (see same page) as about this 10th-14th thing before the Jericho week ..?]

      [further additions be added]

John 7:1-13   (-part I)

[start 1 : deleted – b/c added by Esau to suggest the chapter intent :]
1
“After these things Jesus walked in Galilee:
for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.”
            [here ,
            NO ‘fear of Him for the jews’ theme , while it will be said “that they are in Galilee”
            rendering this line obsolete and since it works confusing it’s best to delete it]

[next 2 : proper start line :]
2
“Now the Jews’ feast of tabernacles was at hand.”
2
now ,
b
the feast of – [..]  jews=Atonement (‘no match’) – [+before]  (that-) of – Tabernacles – was – at hand ;

note :
… in line 8 “both feasts are mentioned side-by-side” as proving this line 2 ,
where the whole intent will be “how Atonement the 14th is the start óf Tabernacles” ;

3
“His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea,
that thy disciples also may see + the works + that + thou doest.”
3
then=but – [..]  him=Jesus – says – [..]  (to-) his – brothers=disciples :
b
you=we (will) depart=wait – hence=and – and=nót – go up – unto – (the-) judea=feast (‘Atonement’) ,
c
so that – [..]  the – disciples=sons of – you=Ishral     +                                                                                      [‘you & we’]
d
(will) perceive – (that-) the – acts=timing (ergon=chronos) of – you=it      +

[w/ swapped :]
which=is – does=wrong (poieó=ponéros) ;                                      [d-e : as in line 7 : ‘the acts of-it wrong is” !]

note :
… this ‘enacting the theme’ is important as THE clue for us ;

4-5
“For [there is]  no man [that]  doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly.
If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world. For neither did his brethren believe in him.”
4
[per context the same ‘does’ must be ‘is’ here :]
because – [..1x..]  [+it]  (‘timing’) (has) does=been – hidden – no one=in – (the-) in=scroll (eN=biblioN)
b
and – (only when-) [+they]  (will) seek – he=it – in=by – being – bold ,
c
if=then – these=the – do=right (-one) – (will) appear – the=unto – world=them ;       +
5
[no new line starting with ‘for’ :]

(and-) [+they]  (will) neither=understand (oude=eidó)       +
b
for=why – the – brothers=sons of – him=Esau (autou=êsau)      +
c
(have) believed=changed (pisteuó=allassô) [+it]  – in – him (‘scroll’) ;       +

[next 6 :
we need to keep the intent in mind here :]

“Then Jesus said unto them, (b) My time is not yet come: (c) but your time is alway ready.”
6
then=because – the – time of – my (‘moved’) – arrival (‘of my return’)      +                                             [< first b]
b
them=would – say=not – [..]  jesus=come to pass                                                                                                  [< then a]
c
yet=as long as – the – timing of – yours=Atonement (‘no match’) – is – always=not – ready=right ;

note :
and we HAD this concept in the Mk.13 (Mt.24) page !

7
“The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.”
7
(now-) , the – world=believers (kosmos=pistos) – (will) not – (be) able – to hate=perceive – you=it ,
b
yet=but – (the-) me=sons (eme=yhios) – (will) hate=perceive (-it)       +
c
that=and – testify – of – it – (to-) I=me      +                                                                                                       [or ‘to God’ ?]
d
that – the – acts=timing (ergon=chronos) of – it – is – does=wrong (poieó=ponéros) ;             [as in line 3]

note :
a) line 13 explains “that the present (corrupt !) scroll” is the reason they do not perceive it ;
b) perhaps c) said “declare” but testify is good enough ,
c) perhaps it said “unto God” but that is the same to us , right ;

[next 8 :
nice juxtaposition – and confirming line 2 ! :]
8
“Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come.”
8
(and-) you=when – [+they]  (will have) go=re-instated (?) – this – feast – unto – the=me ,
b
[new sub-line , starts w/ 2nd word :]

not=then – I – (will) go=return – into=at – the – this=néxt (tautos=hexês) – feast (‘Tabernacles’ !) ,
c
because – [..]  [..]  my – time – (will) not=have (oupó=echô) – fully come ;                                       [see note pls]

note :
a) perhaps in the sense “that we’ve been disappointed several times b/c searching the feasts” ?
     like ‘the meaning of Unleavened” then “Weeks” then “this Atonement”
     but we didn’t go since it was not the time still .. ?
b) there’s no “re-instate” in Strong’s Greek but this can be the colour of it ;

                                                                                                part b
           timings :
            – (in 10) ‘go up to the feast’                                                                                                                  [=as Atonement ?]
            – (in 14) ‘in the midst of the feast go up to the temple’                             [=as the start of Tabernacles ?]
            – (in 37) ‘the last great day’                                                                                                 [=final day of Tabernacles]
            –
9
“When he had said these words unto them, he abode [still]  in Galilee.”
9
[=when]  – [+he]  said – these (-things) – (to-) them , [=they]  (still-) remained – in – [..]  Galilee ;      +

10
“But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast,
not openly, but as it were in secret.”
10
yet=but – as=now – [+he]  gone up=departed – [..]  (with-) his – brethren=disciples      +
b
then=as – [..]  [..]  going up – unto – the – feast (‘Atonement’) ,
c

[what was the intention next ? what do we look for ?
            – in next 11 “the pharisees” must be ANGRY (they always are) for being exposed ,
            – in next 12 “the murmuring” must be because of the different date !

not=and – openly – hiding=telling (?) (‘verb at end?’) – in=this – but=to – (the-) as=people (hos=démos) ;

note :
… c) is VERY likely : after the ‘private talk’ earlier , now ‘publicly’ and see how that runs well into next 11 ;

11
“Then the Jews sought him (b) at the feast, (c) and said, (d) Where + is + he?”
11
then=therefore – the – Jews (‘Pharisees’) – (are) sought=wroth (zéteó=orgizô) ,                          [see ? grin]
b
(saying to-) him=themselves :
c
[next : was very swapped :]

they=he says – (to-) and=them      +
d
(that-) where=today – is – [..]  the – feast of – that one=Atonement ! (eKeinos=Katallagê) ;

12
“And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him:
for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.”
12
and=so that (there was-) – much – murmuring – [=among]  – the – crowds – concerning – him ,
b
the=for – indeed=some – said : it is – (the-) good=right (sic) – that=timing ;
c
yet – others – said :
d
(it is-) not , but=for – he (is) deceiving – the – people ;

13
“Howbeit no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews.”
13
however , no one (-of them) – openly – spoke – (with-) Him – about (-it)                                        [w/ swapped]
b
for – [..]  fear of – the – jews=scroll (ioudaiON=bibliON) ;                                       [the already corrupted OT !]

note :
.. very interesting line : the people knéw that their scroll said ‘the 10th’ !
that was the reason they did not dare to discuss with Him !
yes perhaps they were afraid of the Jews as well — but because those high-priests watched
their by their fathers corrupted scroll like a hawk , bullying the people with it — but that’s not the point !

                                                                                       part II

14
“Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.”
14
yet=now , (the-) about=next day (ede=aurion)         +                                                      [< in context very logical !]
b
(it was-) the – feast of – middle=Tabernacles (meSousês=Skênopêgia) ,
c
and – Jesus – goes up – into – the – temple (‘tabernacle !’) – and=in order – to teach ;

note :
a) here shows the same “enacting the theme”

                           [next : véry long (15-37) ‘theological section’ — but well succeeded ! :]
[next 15 :
probably now He speaks to ‘people gathered in the temple’ – not ‘jews’ –
because of previous line ‘that they feared their scroll’ [-not knowing it was corrupt]  :]
15
“And the Jews marveled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?”
15
and – the – people (‘the audience’) – wondered , saying :
b
how (can-) – [+you]  know=refute – [+our]  writings=scroll ,                                                                               [sic !]
c
not – (being) a learned one ? (“scholar”, negative) ;

16
“Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.”
16
[..]  Jesus – answers – them – and says :
b
[next : we need be careful , while Esau misplaced ‘my’ :]

(because-) [..]  my=its – teaching – is – not of – mine=God (‘no match’) ,
c
but of – the=those – (that-) sent=corrupted (pempó=aphanizô) – me=it ;

note :
… you see how very close Esau’s “plausibile deniability” is next to the real text ,
and he pulled this off by making the audience into ‘the jews’ (=enemies) ! ;
the point is NOT “that He is defending who he is” because ‘the scroll’ is the main theme still ! ;

     [next 2 lines :
     is the idea ‘but you must want to follow the logic of God’.. ?]

17
“If any man will do his will,
he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or [whether]  I speak of myself.”
17
(therefore-) any=you – if=first – will=should – do=understand – his – [..]  will (‘what He wants’) ,
b
[+so that]  he=you (will) know – about=whether – a – teaching – [..1x..]  – is – out of – [..]  God ,
c
or (whether-) – [+it]  (is) speaking – I=fálsehood (‘no Strong’s !’) – from=to – myself=you ;

note :
… Esau ingeniously masqued ‘the scroll theme’ here ! ;

18
“He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory:
but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.”
18
(for-) the (ones-) (‘teachings’) – speaking – from=falsehood – (to-) himself=you
b
(are) seeking – [..]  to glory=destroy (‘no match’) – [..]  own=you ,
c
yet=and – the=you – (will) (-only) seek=perceive (‘spot’)      +
d
the – sending=corrupted (pempó=aphanizô as in 16) (adj.!) – [..]  glory=teachings – (in) him (‘scroll’)
e

[next can only be “if you know the history” :]

(when-) [+you]  (will) is=know – the – truth    +
f

AND UN-JUSTness IN Him NOT IS
and=about – (the-) injustice – [..1x..]  – (that has been-) done – [=to]  – him=you ;    [hence next part !]

                                                                                                       part II b
                                                                             [start of the Atonement theme]
19
“Did not Moses give you the law, and [yet]  none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?”
19
(because-) (has) not – Moses – given – you – the – law=scroll (nomON=bibliON) ? ,               [‘1200 BC’]
b
and=yet – none – of – you – (would) [=keep]  – [+all]  the – laws (-in it) :
c
[+so that]  why=before – me=God – you seek=deserved (?) – to kill=die (sic) ;

note :
a) here ‘Moses’ is used to indicate ‘the 1200 BC timeframe’ [-or would need much more information]  ,
b) you see how with simple corruptions (‘kill + me’) Esau completely threw the theme off-track ;

20
“The people [see ?]  answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee?”
20
the – people – answer – and say :
b
[+but]  you=He has=is – demon=merciful ! (daimonion=eleêmôn) ,                                                     [so nasty]
c
(and-) (would) you=not – (let) any=us – deserve – kill=death ;                                                        [‘us not (etc)’]

note :
… peculiar lines — for one it shows that they were completely ignorant of the basics ,
perhaps because it was never teached – under Esau’s high-priests ;
apart from He telling all this to tell us what “the 14th theme” [-of this chapter]  is about ;

21
“Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.”
21
[..]  Jesus – answers – [..]  saying :
b
(therefore-) [+I]  (am) one=come – to do – (the-) work – and=that – all of – you (will) marvel (-in) ;

22
“Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;)
and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man.”
22
[2nd word start :]
this=but – because=first – moses=God – provided – you – an – cicumcision=atoning sacrifice
b
that=when – [..]  [+your]  fathers – is=departed – out of – the – [+land of]  – moses=Egypt – [..]  ,
c
and=as – (the-) man=lamb – (to be) circumcised=sacrificed – on – sabbath=Passover ;

23
“If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken;
are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?”
23
[w/ swapped :]
if=but – (the-) man=lamb – (that-) [+He]  (would) receive – in=every – sabbath=Passover     +
b
that=would – not – free (!) – the – law=people – (from-) moses=guilt ,
c
(for-) you=he – (would) me=only (-then) – (be) angry=pacified (?) (‘corrupt root anyway’)     +
d
that=when – [+his]  whole=own – sound=sacred (hugiés=hagios) – man=lamb (as in a)       +
e
(would be) make=sacrificed – on – sabbath=Passover ;

note :
… though this theme is well-known to christianity , it’s not the point that it tells the same here
[for that has NOT been derived from thése lines since they were never properly understood !]
but we’re still with “educating those people about Atonement” + informing us about ‘the 14th’ ;

[next 24 :
short but very tricky : what was the intent ? , while it must be an intro to himself (b/c of 24) :]
24
“Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.”
24
no=therefore – you=he judge=sent – according=me – (being-) (the-) face=lamb (opsin=arnion)
b
(to be) judged=sacrificed – but=as – the – righteous – judging=atoning sacrifice (‘no greek’) ;

note :
… the line may seem ‘too much’ yet “He had to spell it out for them” for only in next line
they recognize him ;

25
“Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whom they seek to kill?”
25
then – some [..]  of – the – jerusalem=people – say :
b
(has) – not=God – is=sent – this=yóu       +
c
(so that-) they=we (do) – whom=not – seek=deserve – to kill=die (?) ;                          [see previous lines]

26
“But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him.
Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?”
26
[=because]  – behold ! , (that is why-) he=you (are) speaking – boldly ,     +
 [26 : they wake up :]
b
and – no one (-of them) – (is) contradicting – him=you ! :
c
(do) [..]  [+our]  – overlords (including ‘the jews’ !) – [=already]  – knów      +
d
that – indeed – [=you]  – are – the – messiah ? ;        +                                                                             [next : juxta :]

note :
… we kept ‘overlords’ as “mixture of the Pharisees & the Romans” since the people
probably had not understood the exact reason for the corruption at this point ;

27
“Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is.”
27
yet – we=they know=changed (‘no match’) – (the-) this=scroll (tautON=bibliON)       +
b
(concerning-) whence=who – he=you is=are ,
                                                                [a : they prove the point !]
c
(so that-) yet=when – the – messiah – (would be) coming ,      +
d
[+wé]  (would) – not – know – whence=who – he is ? ;

        [now we still have 28-31 where 31 is the closing of this section : what was the intent ?
        after 31 starts ‘the Pharisee section’
        about ‘the end time (Atonement-) situation’ :]
