Am. 8 : lack of God’s words
(as ‘breath-air’) as Silence
to Jacob when earth got dark
[final version ; 2022-08aug.03]
theme
… not many will understand what “not having breath-air” means
but only when their soul will be so dry that she will crave for any word –
please remember that the fact that He spends an entire chapter on this
(and see also the Jeremiah one about ‘the crystalline (-dimension)’)
must imply that it indeed will be a terrible state for the soul to be in !
this chapter explains
how Jacob thinks he will be rescued – which is a misconception
because he did not understand the real message in prophets
(also because the pastors refused to tell him — see chapter 7) ,
and the reason is “that his soul was not humble (-to can hearken)”
because “he did not battle the Amorite – referring back to chapter 2 ;
only through this heavy time
most people will realize that their core is their (rather helpless-) soul
which will have become of a humble nature …
[remark : though seemingly ‘an easy’ chapter
it was very difficult to reconstruct a well-running continuity]
corruptions : strategic corruptions

Amos 8
fulltext : [the harvest : as Jacob :]
1
then myLord IEUE shows something to me ,
and behold ! , a basket of summer fruits ;
2
and he says : Amos , what do you see ? ;
and I say : a basket of summer fruit ;
then IEUE says to me : the end has come upon my people Jacob ,
I will not pass them by anymore ;
3
but they do not realize , is the declaration of myLord IEUE ,
that in that day
their dead bodies will lay in every place
after the Silence that will have been cast over their soul ; [see line 8]
[4: because those pastors didn’t tell them (see ch.7) :]
4
but they will not hear these words
being the needy ones (‘the right words’) +
that will have been found (?) by the sons ,
as the restored humble ones (‘the right words’) of the scroll ;
[therefore Jacob draws the wrong conclusion :]
5
therefore they will say :
when our king (Christ) will return
he will rescue us and bring us to heaven ,
c
[unknown / too corrupted]
d
and we will not die ;
[but Jacob’s own fault : his soul is not humble :]
6
but their soul is not humble ,
as the needy one before IEUE ,
therefore they do not understand their deity ;
7
because the (physical-) pride of Jacob flourishes
since he constantly ignores his battle +
against the Amorite ; [<< phallic concept ; ch.2]
8
therefore] the land (‘earth’) will tremble
and everyone dwelling in her will mourn ,
when all of his (‘Amorite’) gloomy darkness (?)
will overflow the people of the land ;
9
and it will happen in that day ,
is the declaration of myLord IEUE ,
when I will bring down the sun at noon
as darkening the land in the light of day ;
10
then I will turn their feasts into mourning ,
and all their songs into lamentation ;
for I will bring sackcloths upon all waists
and baldness upon every head ;
I (will) make it as a mourning about an only (-son)
as the end being a bitter day ;
[now the word won’t even be aváilable anymore :]
11
behold ! , the days come ,
is the declaration of myLord IEUE ,
that I will send a famine in the land (‘earth’) :
not a famine of bread , nor a thirst for water ,
but of hearing the words of IEUE ;
12
and they will wander from sea to sea
and from the north even to the east ;
they will go to and fro searching the word of IEUE
but they will not find it ;
13
in that day the fair virgins +
and the choice young men will faint for thirst ;
[closing : because the words are the life to the soul :]
14
because the ones that bear the guilt of the Amorite (?)
will say : there-is-no life of our deity for us ,
as the life through his words for the soul ;
then they will have understood , and I will rescue them .
Amos 8
start : the harvest – of Jacob (‘imprisoned souls in this body’) :
1
thus=then (ke=ki) – myLord – IEUE – shows (-something) (to-) me ,
and behold ! , a basket of – summer fruits ;
2
and he says : Amos , what – (do) you see ? ;
and I say : a basket of – summer fruit ;
b
[=then] – IEUE – says – to me :
the end – (has) come – [=upon] – my people – ishral=Jacob ,
I (will) – not – [..1x..] – pass – [..] [=them] by – anymore ;
next : but Jacob does not understand what will happen :
continuation :
… the ‘grapes’ mean ‘harvest’ but how is that continued in 3 ?
(‘songs’ is corrupt – shows only in line 10) :
3
a
[=but] +
[+they] (do) – howl=not (eililu=la) – [..1x..] – temple=realize (eikl=bin) ,
[forwarded :]
(is) the declaration of – myLord – IEUE ,
b
(that-) in – that – day +
[+their] dead bodies – (will) many=lay – in every – place
[+after] the Silence – (that will have been) cast – [+over] [+their soul] ;
note :
… we finally came to the version as b) and compare line 8 ;
4 [4: because those pastors didn’t tell them (see ch.7) :]
a
[+but] [+they] (will) [+not] hear – these – [+words]
(being) the needy ones (‘the right words’) +
(that will have been) swallow=found (?) – [+by the sons] ,
b
[=as] the fail=restored – humble ones (‘words’) of – the land=scroll ;
next : therefore Jacob draws the wrong conclusion :
5
to=therefore [+they] (will) say :
when – [..] [+our] moon=king (Christ) – (will) gone=return
b (obr=shb)
[..] we=he (will) sell=rescue [+us] (shbr=iash) +
[+and] corn=bring [+us] (shbr=bo) – and=to [..] sabbath=heaven ,
c (shbth=shmim)
[unknown / too corrupted]
d
and [+we] (will) to=not (l=la) [..1x..] – scales=die (mazni=mth) – [..1x..] ;
next 6 : but Jacob’s fault : he forgot that his sóul is not humble :
is almost 1 on 1 copied from Amos 2 ,
there it referred to ‘being superficial’ and can be the theme here as well ,
or Esau copied it to hide a totally different theme :
6
to=but – [..] [+their] silver=soul – (is) buy=not – humble ,
(ksph=nphsh)
and=as the needy one – [..] sake=before – shoe=IEUE (nolim=ieue) ,
b
[attempt :]
[=therefore] – [+they] (do) – refuse=not (mphl=la)
cereal=understand (br=bin) – [+their] sell=deity (shbir=eleim) ;
next : because the phallic concept rules Jacob :
[see chapter 2 second half :]
7
[+because] – [..1x..] – the (physical-) pride of – Jacob – swear=flourishes
b (shbo=sus)
if=since – he – constantly – ignores – [+his] all=battle (kl=lchm)
[+against] the deeds=Amorite (moshi=emori) ; [<< phallic concept]
note :
… the Amorite theme (-of chapter 2) HAD to return at some point ;
also given line 6 which more or less referred back to that ;
8
[=therefore] – [..2x..] – the land (‘earth’) – (will) tremble
and – everyone – dwelling – in her – (will) mourn ,
b
[..] [=when] – all of – [+his] (‘Amorite’) Nile=gloomy darkness (?)
[..1x..] – (will) overflow – the Nile=people of – the egypt=land ;
9
and it (will) happen – in – that – day ,
(is) the declaration of – myLord – IEUE ,
b
[=when] I (will) bring (-down) – the sun – [=at] noon
[=as] darkening – the land – in the light of – day ;
next : the dark dimension will have taken over :
10
[=then] – I (will) turn – [=their] feasts – into mourning ,
and all – [=their] songs – into lamentation ;
b
[=for] I (will) [=bring] – sackcloths – upon – all – waists
and – baldness – upon – every – head ;
c
[..] I (will) make it – as a mourning – [+about] an only (-son)
[=as] the end – [..] (being) a bitter – day ;
next : but now the word won’t even be aváilable anymore :
11
behold ! , the days – come ,
(is) the declaration of – myLord – IEUE ,
[=that] I (will) send – a famine – in – the land (‘earth’) :
b
not – a famine of – [..] bread , [..] nor – a thirst – for water ,
but [..] – [=of] hearing – the words of – IEUE ;
12
and they (will) wander – from sea – to – sea
and from the north – [=even] to – the [=east] ;
they (will) go to and fro – searching – the word of – IEUE
[=but] – they (will) – not – find (-it) ;
13
in – that – day – the fair – virgins +
and the choice young men – (will) faint – [=for] thirst ; +
closing : because these words are the life for the soul :
14
[+because] +
the ones (that-) swear=bear – the guilt of – the samaria=Amorite (?)
b (shbo=nsha)
[..] (will) say :
[+there-is-no] life of – [=our] deity – [+for] dan=us ,
c
[=as] the life – [+through] bar=his – way=words – [+for] the sheba=soul ;
d (drk=dbr) (shba=nphsh)
[attempt : KJV is much too harsh :]
and=then they (will have) fall=understood
and [..1x..] – they=I (will) rise=rescue – never=them .
