Mal. 2: for today’s pastors :
      choose the restored scroll –
    or reject it , cause the crime
        and be banned from eden
[totally corrupt – came out well]

  [final version ; 2022-08aug.24]

one of the most corrupted – and complex – chapters to date
but it came out very well and is an interesting read

                                                    theme

this will be a very dangerous chapter for us to do
because after ’the restoration of the scroll’ now comes ’those rejecting it’
as the common buildup of this theme in prophets : first the sons ,
then the group that rejects it , then the people Jacob – in next ch.3 here ;
where
in other prophets is spoken rather negative – and staccato – about this group ,
yet this chapter is surprisingly different and part I is outspoken friendly :
part I :
– do not curse your people and yourself :
    it is not God that ‘will curse’ but the accepting or rejecting by this group ,
– therefore accept the restored scroll :
    because your soul and that of others will rejoice in the message ,
– for you will understand my covenant :
    namely as “returning to the heavenly garden of Eden”   —
    because this is God’s covenant (Christ’s covenant is about being saved) ,
– and the sons perceived that :
    an explanation follows ,
part II :
– the clause : but if you will not hearken :
– the people will be furious :
    when they will discover that Revelation has begun ;
– you will be guilty because you have not warned the people
    (in other prophets as ’then I will require their blood from your hand’) ,
    and the penalty for this is not entering eden after the Jacob souls
    will be collected
    (note to hR : we need to see what is with the ’two witnesses overcome
    by the dragon’ in Revelation — it must be about Jácob being saved !) ,
– closing :
    the judgment and the reasons for that

a serious theme – those choosing poorly :
apart from the fact that this is a dangerous one for ús to translate
because we needed to make sure that the interpretation would be correct ,
the penalty for those choosing the wrong option is horrific :
– we sense that the said “I was treacherous to you” is not a remorse
    because the entire context is “you knéw what you were doing”
    and likely very much related to line 3 where serious souls cannot reject
    the covenant because it simply feels Too True ;
– second : this definitely feels like a Legal chapter – in the sense that God
    explained the judgment already and will not do it (-again) afterwards ;
line 3 : ‘message of the sons’ (the 144) :
we think the phrase is correct there   —
for God uses three long lines to explain how they found the message
and concludes with ’they restored the words which I have spoken to you all’ ;
chapter peculiarity :
usual theme buildup is 1-2-3 but here 1-2 2-3 , as if ‘phrased very carefully’
by constant referring back to the theme in previous line ;

corruptions : UTTERLY , in top of the crowded top 5
theme :  context 100% restored and syntax >95%

Malachi 2

fulltext :
1
and now , you pastors , this commandment is for you :
2
if you will not hearken ,
as not placing on your heart the words which IEUE of hosts speaks to you ,
then you will bring a curse upon the people (‘Jacob’)          +
and a great curse upon yourself :
therefore do nót cause (any-) curse ,
and place my words on your heart :
3                                                                                                                    [3: juxtaposed in 15]
behold ! ,
let you accept the message of the sons (‘144’) ,
for the souls of the people will understand it ,
while your own soul will be glad         +
that they (‘144’) brought it (‘message’) to you ;
4                                                                                                                                [4: not Christ’s]
because you will understand          +
that your returning to the heavenly garden of eden of old
is mý (eden-) covenant with you , says IEUE of hosts ;
5
and my covenant has been discerned by the sons of Ishral (‘144’)
when I gave them understanding concerning their (adm-) ground (‘eden’)
(in the days-) when they were distressed about the iniquity of their own flesh ;
6
therefore they needed to know trúe concepts ,
because they only found unjust ones        +
in the scroll of the (1500 AD-) fathers ,                                               [<< KJV , ch.1]

as the sayings (‘lines, verses’) nót showing them
how they could be saved from their flesh ;                                                 [see intro]
7
therefore       +
they understood that the scroll of the (1500 AD-) fathers was corrúpt ,
and that they had to restore my words ,
as the words which IEUE of hosts has spoken to all of you ;

                                                                [part II : back to the pastors (chapter hinge) :]
8
but if you will nót hearken to the message of the sons (‘144’) ,
then you will cause many ones to stumble         +
in the day of their ruin ,                                                                              [<< day of IEUE]
for you will not have teached them about my covenant ,
says IEUE of hosts ;
9                                                                                                            [the people are furious :]
and the day of IEUE will also come upon you ;
then you will hide as staying low (?) for all the angry people
that will say : there-is-no peace for us ,
yet you have said to us : IEUE will rescue us ! ;
10
and you will say : the peace did not come to all of us ,
and I should not have become a pastor to you ,
because I have acted treacherously to you
by not warning you for the dreadful day of IEUE ;
11
and therefore I acted treacherously ,
because I knéw about the horror that would come       +
upon the land (‘earth’) and upon the people ;
because the sons (‘144’) restored the scroll of IEUE
in which He spoke about the arrival of the terrible ones (?)
as the foreign nations ;                                                                                 [demon armies]

12                                                                                                                                   [12: see note]
therefore thus says IEUE       +
to the pastor who will not inform Jacob about the restored scroll :
I will not bring you to the (adm-) ground (‘eden’) like the souls of Jacob ;
13
for you loved the scroll of your (1500 AD-) fathers ,                                  [<< KJV]
and you covered the altar of IEUE with your tears
(requesting things from me-) with weeping and with crying out ,
eventhough you knéw about the restored scroll ,
but you did nor desire to accept my words ;
14
you said : I am a pastor for the people ;
but you did not witness about me        +
for you spoke falsehood concerning me ,
by which you have been acting treacherous to Jacob ,
for you have not teached them the meaning of my (eden-) covenant ;
15
because as pastor you loved the attention of the people for you ,
who sought your help concerning their belief ;
but you guarded their spirit (‘spirituality’)
by not showing them the (theme of the-) restored scroll ;
16
because you hated what the sons said about the (adm-) ground      +
and my people (eden-) Ishral (‘Originals’) ,
though you concealed your fury against them (‘sons’) , says IEUE of hosts ;
17
therefore your own words will judge you ,                                                          [17 : attested]
because you have said that I will judge the sons (‘144’)          +
for making such an evil scroll not being the words of IEUE ,
as the one in which He does not delight :
therefore you will be judged in the day of IEUE .

Malachi 2
