the ‘seven churches’ explained

  in short : the build-up of the main theme :

… previous chapters were but slightly corrupted ,
but the important final 3 churches we had to do again
and they really hold some surprises ;
the depiction below shows the buildup of themes
because all seven are NOT “equal timeframes” :
prophets clearly describe that , from the moment
the message in prophets will be understood ,
events will happen in breakneck-speed
(literally mentioning a timeframe of ‘three years’) ;
             (friendshiptours com)

below : the past 2000 years until the turning point [‘Sardis’]

church                              attribute

Ephesus                      [‘sacred work’]
… the first Christianity ,
they ‘experienced the other Reality’ but slowly
lost that awareness as ‘losing the first love’
timeframe :

(first years AD)

the progressive degrading
of our reality

Smyrna                       [‘reminiscence’]
… the Medieval times ,
believers now ‘focus upon this earth again’,
therefore the world is darkening more and more ;

(say 400 AD)

Pergamos                   [‘fortification’]
… starting with the Reformation ,
the world is now called “throne of Satan” ;
the warning is to translate scripture RIGHTLY :
or Satan will go dwéll upon his throne ;

(say 1500 AD)

Thyatira                        [‘possessor’]
… ‘modern Christianity’ ,
doing all kinds of works and charity but
(as prophets write) is committing fornication ;
here is already warned for the Tribulation ;

(past 100 / 150 years)

Sardis                            [‘consecrate’]
… real message of prophets found ;
important :
this is the reason for the Lamb to take the book
out of the hand of the one sitting on the throne ,
and the Lamb starts to open the seals ;

< < < turning point

Philadelphia            [‘brotherly love’]
… all 144,000 are selected ,
as the óther ones to complete the 144 number ;
(as a process going on RIGHT NOW) ;
main theme here is “dying to the own Self” ;
(TODAY)

start of the restoration
towards the other Reality
Laodicea                    [‘people’s penalty’]
… start of the Tribulation ,
and the many believers are left behind upon earth ;
Christ says “that he loves them (‘ofcourse ! , hR’) ,
but they themselves have chosen this ordeal —
yet he will save them after their physical death
(ANY DAY NOW)

earth ceases
paradise (re-) begins

                   parallels with the exodus and the promised land

… where the exodus was about ‘leaving a hell to enter the promised land’ ,
the 7 churches represent “leaving earth to enter eden paradise” ;
even the timeframe of ‘2000 years’
runs similarly with the “40 years in the desert” – seen as 40 Jubilee years ;
entering the promised land :
… insofar parallel “that the land had to be conquered still”,
where Jericho typically represents Mystery-Babylon – which also ‘imploded’ ;

                          the Attributes of the four last churches

Thyatira
… in over a dozen prophet chapters appears the theme “fornication”
and the subject is about ‘christianity in the endtime , as Christ-centered’
(also Paul addresses that in the 1 Cor. Chapters but we still need to do those) ;
ofcourse several lines were corrupt there , as well ,
but the REASON for the fornication must read – like everywhere in prophets :
(KJV Rev. 2:24)
     “[because] – I say – (to-) you [=’the pastors’] – and – the – rest – in – Thyatira
      b
      many=that – you (do) – not – have – the – this=right (houtos=dikaios) – doctrine ,
      c
      who=because (hostis=hoti) – [+you] (do) – not – knów       +
      d
      the – depths=words (bathus=logos)[..] satan=God – [..] (has) spoken
      e                                                                                     (satanas=theos)
      not=by – [..] you=His – put=servants – other=the – burden=prophets ;
                                                         (balló=doulos)    (allos=tou)    (baros=prophêtês)

… while the mutilated chapter
ends with describing “the iron staff” as the attribute of the 144,000
(do note the type deflective roots Esau used ,
and HOW EASY it was for him to let the text speak something totally different !…)

Sardis [-see fulltext]
… after the promise at the previous church now the 144,000 start to manifest ,
and line 1 describes the situation just like many prophets do
(see for example the Ezekiel chapter ‘the dry bones in the valley’) :
… the sons – out of sheer desperateness of their situation –
start to ask themselves “… but God must have said sómething about this ?”,
resulting in discovering the real message in prophets ;

… line 2-c and 3 are equally interesting : at some point in time ,
the “Lamb must take the scroll from the one on the throne
and start ópening the seven seals” – and it makes much sense
that this will happen “when I will find your works acceptable before God”
(we never considered this option until now – by reading it…) ;
line 3 ,
the “you will know (approximately-) when I will come back”
must be a juxtaposition to previous Thyatira (see shown line 24 above)
              so next 25 should not read (as in KJV)
              “but that which you have [already] , hold fast till I come”
              yet instead :
              but=moreover ,
              b
              which=because – you (do) – (..+not..) – have=know [ +them] [=’God’s words’] ,
               c
              you (are) hold=restráining – (..+the time..) – until – when – [..] I (will) come back ;
                                 (krateó=katapauô !)

… and if you think about it ,
it is incredible how christians hold onto “but no one can know that time – only God !”,
up to the point of flat out denying that God ánd Christ have said something else …
line 4 :
… because the theme of Sardis (and next Philadelphia) is now positive-progressive ,
the separate group described in line 4 is NOT positive  —
in prophets this group is juxtaposed against the 144,000 and described
either as “pastors” or as “the other sons” , who will rejéct the restored text :
we don’t want to think about this theme (and compare line 5-c in fulltext) ;

Philadelphia
… about the completion of all the 144,000 :
these are (like we) the “blind and poor and lame” in the wedding Parable ,
because each one is fighting with his or her Attribute ;
line 9 :
… no ‘synagogue’ nor ‘jews worshipping at your feet’ here  —
the entire KJV line was concocted by Esau to diffuse the nature of this group ;
in prophets the buildup of the (true) theme is always :
– the first ‘batch’ of the 144 understand prophets    (Sardis , above) ,
– but a certain group rejects that                                         (Sardis , above) ;
– this Philadelphia is about “the rest of the 144,000
    who are not able or just cannot know what is the restored text” ,
    and all these “will get dreams and visions” , termed ‘the latter rain’ ;

Laodicea
… line 15 , the “cold nor hot” must link back to Philadelphia ,
and because this large group is neither of both , they will be ‘tried’ ;
line 18 :
… the ‘you buy from Me’ refers back to ‘the labour’ in previous 17 ;
in prophets the usual buildup is :
Christ voluntary ‘payed’ , the 144,000 ‘repayed’ ,
and now also Jacob will need to ‘pay’ – by physical death
(but we opted it a … too straightforward term to go embed in the text) ;
line 20 :
… the “I will stand at your door” can only be the 144,000 witness to Jacob
after they will return to this earth and to their people ;
and here shows that the term ‘die’ perhaps shóuld have been used ,
because Laodicea is NOT about “overcoming some type spiritual lazyness” ;

               [5th : Sardis : prophets are understood + the first batch of the 144,000 :]

1.
and write to the angel of the church in Sardis :
these things says the one having the seven spirits of God ,
as the seven stars [=Torches] :                                                             [<< compare ‘7 seals’]
I know your works ,
that you have the name that you live ,                                         [<< ‘being a christian’ !]
but you are dead (-inside) ;
2.                                                                    [2: the reason why the Lamb takes the scroll !!]
therefore be awake [=alert] ,
and investigate the words which have been hidden ,
so that I will find your work acceptable before God ;
3.                                                                                                                                  [3: att. in prophets]
then He [=God] will remember and will act      +
by what you have taken hold of ,                                                            [<< or : understood]
for you will have kept His word ;
therefore you will be watchful         +
so that I will nót come like a thief to you ,
because you will know at what time I will come back upon the clouds ;
4.
but there will be people in Sardis       +                          [4 : a (small) stubborn group :]
who will rejéct His words :                                                                  [<< as restored words]
these will not come with Me
but will be left behind ,
because they will not be worthy ;
5.
yet the ones overcoming       +
will be clothed in white garments [=Originals] ,
and I will nót blot out their names from the book of life ;               [sic – see Greek]
but I will confess their names before my Father
and before his angels ;                                                                                                         [closing :]
6.
the one having an ear ,
let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches ;

                                    [6th : Philadelphia : the 144,000 completed : in THESE DAYS :]
7.
and write to the angel of the church in Philadelphia :
these things says the truly faithful One ,
the one having the key of David ,                                                                       [<< eden-rule]
the one opening and no one can close ,
who is closing and no one can open ;
8.                                                                           [each of 144 fights with his/her Attribute :]
I know your works :
behold ! , I place an opened door in front of you       +                                 [<< to eden]
which no one is able to close ,
for you have little power        +                                                           [next : needs a reason]
because of the oppression to your soul ;
yet you have not denied My name ;
9.                                                                                                      [9a : as ‘latter rain’ in prophets]
behold ! , I will give you dreams and visions ,
as showing to you the great things that were ,                     [9 w/ totally corrupted]
and are not (-now) , but will come to pass :
behold ! , you will arrive in the heavenly kingdom ,
and you will rejoice in your God ,
and you will know that I have loved you ;
10.
because (if-) you keep My message to patiently endure ,
I also will keep you out from the trial       +
that is about to come upon the whole inhabited world ,                   [<< Tribulation]
testing those dwelling upon the land [=earth] ;
11.                                                                                                                                                    [closing :]
I will come back quickly , therefore hold fast to what you have ,
so that no one may take away your crown :
12.
I will make the ones that overcome        +
to be priests in the temple of God ,                                           [<< attested in prophets]
and the name of God will be written upon them ;                         [<< see Revelation]
12-e.
         [cóuld have written something like ,
         and according to prophets :]
13.                                              (… and they will rule [comp. ‘David’] the [eden-] land…) ;
let the one having an ear
hear what the Spirit says to the churches ;

                                                              [7th : Laodicea : the Tribulation : ANY DAY NOW :]

14.                                                                                                                    [first the deity speaks :]
and write to the angel of the church of Laodicea :
these things says the Son ,
the holy and true witness        +
of the original creation of God :                                                           [<< eden / souls / etc]

15.
I know your works ,                                                                      [next : but souls don’t care :]
that you are neither cold nor hot :
I wíshed (-that) you would be cold or hot ! ;
16.
but because your soul is lukewarm towards God ,                              [<< to her deity]
as not having been humble before Him ,
I will leave you behind upon this world [=earth] ;
17.
because you say : I will have peace [=be rescued] ,                     [<< att. in prophets]
as becoming rich and I do not need to labour for it ;
but you do not understand that you will become afflicted ,
as your soul           +
who will be poor and blind and naked ;                                                [<< during the trib]
18.
yet during the judgment over you ,
you will buy from Me gold refined in the fire so that you will be rich ,
and will (-buy) a white garment [=Original] so that you will be clothed ,
in order that the shame of your [=soul] nakedness will not be visible ;
and (you will buy-) eyesalve to anoint your eyes with ,
so that you will be able to ‘see’ :          +
20. (!)                                                                                               [20 : the 144 witness to Jacob]
when I will stand at your door and will knock ,
then listen to My voice and open the door ,
and I will enter to you and will dine with you ,
and you with Me ;
19. (!)
for as much as I love ,
accordingly I rebuke and discipline ;
21.                                                                                                                                                   [closing :]
to the ones that overcome ,
I will grant them to be seated with me on my throne [=type dominion] ,
just like I also overcame ,       +
and am seated with my Father on his throne ;
22
let the one having an ear
hear what the Spirit says to the churches .

BREAKDOWN [-of chapter three]

Sardis : prophets understood  +  the first batch of the 144,000
situation :
after the “fornication of the previous church” now the opposite :
context :
… in prophets is repeated “the sons will feel oppressed ,        (compare line 1)
especially by this type body ,
and will ask : what God has said about these things ?” ,                                (line 2)
hence they will examine prophets again – finding out it has been corrupted :

1
and – write – (to-) the – angel – (of-) the – church – in – Sardis :
b
these (-things) – says – the (-one) – having – the – seven – spirits – [..] (of-) God
c
and=as – the – seven – stars [=’Torches’] :                         [<< compare ‘seven seals’]
d
I know – [..] your – works ,
e
that – you have – the – name – that – you live ,                  [<< ‘being a christian !!’]
f
and=but – you are – dead (-inside) ;

2                                                                      [2 : the reason why the Lamb takes the scroll !!]
[+therefore] – be – awake [=’alert’] ,
b
and – strengthen=investigate – the – remain=words (loipos=logos)
c
which – ready=(have) been – die=hidden ,
d
[=so that] – [..1x..] – I (will) find – your – [..] work – (..acceptable..) – before – God ;
                                                                                                         (pléroó=euprosdektos !)

                                                                                                  [3 : all attested in prophets]
3
[+then] [+He] [=God] (will) remember – and – heared=(will) act          +
b
therefore=by – what – you (have) taken hold of (G2983) ,      [<< or: ‘understood’]
c
and=for – (you will have) kept – if=His – repent=word (metanoeó=logos) ;
d
therefore – [..1x..] – you (will be) watchful         +
e
[+so that] – I (will) (..+nót..) come – like – (a-) thief [+to you] ,
f
and=because – [..2x..] – you (will) knów         +
g
(at-) what – time – I (will) come back – upon – (the-) you=clouds (su=nephos) ;

                                                                                             now a juxtaposition :
                                                                          [people in Sardis who are nót consecrated]
4
but – (there will-) have=be – [..1x..] – (..people..) – in – Sardis
b
who – [..1x..] – (will) defiled=rejéct – [..] them=His – garments=words :
c                                        (molunó=ekptyô)
and=these – (will) (..+not..) walk=come – with – Me
d
in=but – (be) white=left behind (leukos=apoleipô !) ,
e
because – they will – (..+not..) – (be) worthy ;

above 4 :
… a frequent theme in prophets (also shows in Parables) ,
as a – fortunately – relative small group who knows about restored prophets
but rejects that version
(it’s possible that line 4a wrote “there will be a (relative-) few people” but that
would not matter for the context ; rather it is Esau’s “exception excuse”) ;

                                                                                                               first batch of the 144,000 :
5
[+yet] the (-ones) – overcoming       +
b
[..] (will be) clothed – in – white – garments [=’our Originals’] ,
c
and – I (will) – [..] nót        +
d
blot out – their – names – from – the – book [=’scroll’][..] (of-) life ;       [sic]
e
and=but – I (will) confess – [..] their – names – before – [..] my – Father      +
f
and – before – [..] His – angels ;

                                                                                                                                                       (closing)
6
the (-one) – having – (an-) ear ,
b
(let) him hear – what – the – Spirit – says – (to-) the – churches ;

above 5 :
… the Originals (=original body) theme will return in next Revelation chapters ;
2.
Line 5c-d : however horrible , it must link back to line 4 – or why mention it ;
In several chapters we had this theme now , and actually we don’t wánt to know ;

Philadelphia : the 144,000 completed                        [THESE DAYS]
situation :
… these are the other “blind and lame and cripple”, see Parables :

7
and – write – (to-) the – angel – (of-) the – church – in – Philadelphia :
b
these (-things) – says – the – [..] truly – holy=faithful (-One) (hagios=pistos) ,
c
the (-one) – having – the – key – [..] (of-) David [=’eden-rule’] ,
d
the (-one) opening – and no one – (can) close ,
e
[=who] – (is) closing – and – no one – (can) open ;

above 7 : holy :
… though it is póssible that Christ says about himself ‘holy’ ,
the people of this church is asked nothing more but “to hold on”,
therefore we opted that the colour should match ‘Philadelphia’
(comp. line 14 , was likely swapped by Esau) ;

                                                    each of the 144 fights with his/her Attribute :
8
I know – your – [..] works :
b
behold ! , I place – (an-) opened – door – in front of – you        [<< ’to eden’]
c
which – no one – (is) able – to close [..] ,
d
for – you have – little – power        +                                   [next : reason needed :]
e
[lineup :]

and=because of – (the-) kept=oppression  – (to-) my=your – [..] word=soul ;
f                                                   (téreó=kataponeô)                                       (logos=psychê)
[=yet] – you (have) – not – denied – [..] My – name ;

next 9 : (KJV) VERY questionable :
… what is the synagogue theme doing here ? ;
in next line 10 is said “because you have kept my words”,
therefore it is very possible ‘that something is said to them’ in this 9 :
2.
… then we also need to count with ‘the latter rain’ ,
as the dreams and visions which will be given to the wider 144 :

9
behold ! , I (will) give – from=you – [..] synagogue=dreams – [=and] – satan=visions ,
b                                                    (ek=su)              (sunagógé=enypnion)               (satanas=optasia)
those=as – declaring=showing – (to-) themselves=you         +
c                       (legó=apangellô !)                        (heautou=su)
(the-) jews=great things – (that-) were ,          +
d       (ioudaios=megaleios !)
and – are – not (-now) , but – (will) lie=come to pass (pseudomai=ginomai !) :
e
behold ! , they=you (will) arrive – (in the-) them=heavenly – make=kingdom ,
f                                                                                          (heautou=ouranos)
and – [+you] (will) worship=rejoice – before=in – [..] your – [….]=God (pous=theos) ,
g                                 (proskuneó=euphrainô)
and – they=you (will) know – that – I – (have) loved – you ;

above 9 :
… the “was , is not , and will be” is used 2x in the rest of Revelation ,
and the entire context is now according to ‘Philadelphia’ ! ;
also note some very close roots ;

10
[lineup :]
a
because – (if-) you keep – [..] My – message – [..] to patiently endure ,
b
I also – (will) keep – you – out from – the – trial      +                [<< 7th church]
c
[=that] – (is) about – to come – upon – the – whole – inhabited world ,
d
testing – those – dwelling – upon – the – land [=’earth’] ;

                                                                                                                                   (closing)
11
I (will) come back – quickly , (therefore-) hold fast – (to-) what – you have ,
b
so that – no one – (may) take (-away) – [..] your – crown :

                                                                                                     [12-b : according to prophets]
12
I (will) make – the (-ones) – (that-) overcome         +
b
him=to be (autos=esti)pillar=priests – in – the – temple – [..] (of-) God ,
c                                                   (stulos=hiereus)
and – the – name – [..] (of-) God – (will be) written – upon – him=them ;
d
[deleted , but COULD have written something like :]
f                                (..and they will rule [comp.’David’] the [eden-] land..) ;

above 12 :
… 12-b is written in prophets , and c furtheron in Revelation (+ prophets?) ;
but
it seems that lines d-e-f are Esau’s fantasy : the idea kind is of stolen from
the original line 9 ; while he re-introduced the “city coming down on earth” theme
(see final chapters of Revelation) ;
while neither the “I will write My new name upon him” makes sense ;

13
(let) the (-one) – having – (an-) ear
b
hear – what – the – Spirit – says – (to-) the – churches ;

Laodicea :  the Tribulation …

                                                                                                          (first) the deity speaks :
14
and – write – (to-) the – angel – (of-) the – church – (of-) Laodicea :
b
these (-things) – says – the – amen=Son ,
c
the – faithful=holy – and – true – witness         +
d
(of-) the – original – [..] creation – [..] (of-) God :      [<< eden / souls / etc]

above 14 :
… unlike line 7 , here needs to be a … ‘difference between a deity and a human’
because the theme will be ‘judgment’ ; see next 15 :
2.  creation :
… the problem with concordances is that they overlooked many themes ,
and though we don’t doubt that Christ cooperated when eden was made ,
14-d must be an introduction to next lines
where he will say to souls : “but you have not cared” :

                                                               juxtaposition – the deity speaks to the soul :
15
I know – [..] your – works ,
b
that – you are – neither – cold – nor – hot :
c
I wished – (that-) you (would) be – cold – or – hot ! ;

next 16 :
… question is , would ‘cold nor hot’ be used a THIRD time ..?
(red flag : both ‘lukewarm’ and ‘spue’ are suspect roots) ;
2. leave behind :
… the notion was already present in previous two churches ,
and is required here to underline ‘the judgment’ – and see next 17 ;
because Christ refers to God + creation in opening line 14 ,
this restored 16 is acceptable ;
3. humble :
… a most important theme in prophets ,
and is needed here as the reason of the lukewarmness ,
and the description of both latter is given in next 17 :

16
[=but] – because – [+your] hot=soul (zestos=psychê)          +
b
is – lukewarm (?) – [=towards] – neither=God (oute=theos)[<< to her deity]
c
[+as] nor=not – (having been) humble – (..+before – Him..) ,
d                              (psuchros=tapeinos)
I will – spew=leave – you – behind – out=upon – [..] My=this – mouth=world ;
(emeó=aphiêmi !)                                                                                                 (stoma=kosmos)

below 17 : can go two ways :
1.  the soul who thinks ‘she is rich and needs nothing’ and forgetting God ,
considered today’s consumer-society ,
2. or : “the soul that thinks she will be saved from the Tribulation”
‘because she believes in Jesus’  – but has not dóne anything :
the “buying” in line 18 supports the second option , as ‘paying a price’
(just like Sardis and Philadelphia did) :
3. the ‘peace’ :
… in prophets as “peace , peace – but there will-be-no peace” ,
read : these will not be rescued from the Tribulation ;

17
because – you say : [..] I (will) am=have – rich=peace [=’be rescued’] ,
b
[=as] – (becoming) rich – and – [+I] (do) nothing=not – need – (to) have=labour [-for it] ;
c                                                                                                                                           (echô=ergazomai)
[=but] – you (do) – not – understand – that – you (will) become – afflicted ,
d
[=as] – [+your] miserable=soul (eleeinos=psychê)         +
e
and=who (will be) – [..] poor – and – blind – and – naked ;                                       [<< 3x]

18
[+yet] [+during] – (the-) counsel=judgment – (over-) you ,      +                       [next : 3x]
b
[+you] (will) buy – from – Me – gold – refined – [=in] (the-) fire      +
c
so that – you (will be) rich ,
d
and – (will) [-buy] (a-) white – garment – so that – you (will be) clothed ,
e
in order that – the – shame – [..] (of-) your – nakedness – (will) not – (be) visible ;
f
and – [-you will buy] eyesalve – to anoint – [..] your – eyes (-with) ,
g
so that – you (will be able to-) ‘see’ :           +

19
[skipped – is in false position , see next]
20
behold=when – I (will) stand – at – [..] [+your] – door – and – (will) knock ,
b
if=then – [..1x..] – listen – [..] (to-) My – voice – and – open – the – door ,
c
and – I (will) enter – to – [=you] – and – (will) dine – with – [=you] ,
d
and – [=you] – with – Me ;                                              [20-19 : was 1 line]
19
[+for] as much as – I – [..] love ,
b
[+accordingly] – I rebuke – and – discipline ;
C
[deleted]     [Esau needed this to create a separate line ,
                          and the same time to diffuse the sting of this section]

above 20-19 :
… can only mean “the time when the 144,000 will witness to Jacob” ;

                                                                                                                                             (closing)
21
(to) the (-ones) – (that-) overcome – I (will) grant – [=them]          +
b
(to be) seated – with – me – [=on] – [..] my – throne [=’type dominion’] ,
c
just like – I also – overcame        +
d
and – (am) seated – with – [..] my – Father – [=on] – [..] his – throne ;

22
(let) the (-one) – having – (an-) ear
b
hear – what – the – Spirit – says – (to-) the – churches .

Annex :

etymology of names :

Ephesus :
very tricky etymology :
an old version claims it was called ‘alope’ ,
and Strong’s -aleipho is “to anoint” , perhaps “the anointed one” ;
it is supposed to be built as capital by the Ionians and Arzawa ,
as the capitol Apasa (-abasa) , later known as Ephesus ;
2.
the Apasa can be cognitive to Hittite apâs “she, he , this one” (‘the one’?) ;
though the root ap/apa ‘father’ is tempting , it’s unusable because Turkic ;
instead – because these were indo-european people (especially the Ionians) ,
Sanskrit -apas (fr.-ap) “sacred work or act” RV
as Latin : opus ; in context : Ephesus as “the sacred work”
and -apas “active or running waters” RV ,
read “living [eden-] waters” also representing “the [eden-] dimension”
(but no city would call itself “water” we guess …) ;
2.
famous for ‘the temple of Artemis’ ;

Smyrna :
in old-Greek as -zmurna or -zmurnaois ;
in Strong’s as -smurna , -smurne , -smurnan , said from -muron ‘perfume’ ;
2.
since the Lydians came later there’s no need to search in that language ;
Sanskrit -smR “remember, think of, be mindful of” RV ;
3.
that the city is called “myrrh” because “it traded in myrrh” is highly questionable ,
sounding more like a circle-argument ;

Pergamon :
in old-Greek as -pergamos ;
in Strong’s : from -purgos ‘tower , fortified structure’,
and the latter makes sense because Pergamos was built on a high mesa (‘hill’) ;
while the city contained the famous “Pergamon altar”- now in Berlin ;
and it had the second-largest library in the world
(that ‘parchment’ seems to stem from Greek -pergamini is questionable) ;
2.
considered the attributes so far ,
“the Roman church – the fortress as the Pergamon Altar itsélf –
as well as Esau’s other minions (=those who corrupted the scrolls)
were “guarding the access to the library (read : OT and NT) within her” ;

Thyatira :
in Strong’s as -thuateira ,
in old-Greek : -thuatra , -thuater, – thuatros, etc (“daughter”) ;
later as “maidservant, slave” ;
2.
if ‘the renaming into Thyatira in 290 BC’ is a fable
(why would the city have been called ‘Pelopia’ and ‘Semiramis’ ? ,
and we have some root T-T-R ,
then the closest Lydian , according to the Lydisches Wörterbuch (Gusmani, 1964)
is root -tar(b) (-tarf, -tarv) “owner , something that is owned , ownership” ,
into -tars , -tarta and – tartô (T-T-R) ;
3.
though “a daughter” would match the mentioned ‘Jezebel’ figure ,
where “the maidservant” can be “the church” (compare the 10 virgins) ,
it is just not a proper descríption of the nature of this church ;
4.
Thuateira was a city “of wool- and linen-workers, dyers , potters , bakers ,
slave-dealers , bronze-smiths and bakers” (‘materialism’)

Sardis :
old-Lydian Sfard ,
possible from Sumerian roots -Sar ‘universe, totality, the world’
and -Dû ‘creator’ or ‘word’ ;
the term -Sardu of the old-Sardinians as ‘god, deity’ ;
2.
Sardis is *unlikely*   from Greeg -sardeis (‘jasper’ etc) ;
3.
Iberian Peninsula (Iberian jews sphardim) ,
as the ones who went there after Jerusalem was destroyed by Titus (70 AD) ;
Sardis : As -Sparda or -Spardâ in some Persian inscriptions ;
the -tsarephath in Ob.1:20 is likely corrupt ;
then – sepharvaim , on east bank of the Euphrates (mentioned in Is.37) ,
suggested as the Babylonian/Sumerian city ‘Sippar’
(related to -sipparu ‘bronze’ (Sum. ZABAR) ?) ;
in some Assyrian documents Sardis is – Saparda
and in a bilingual Lydian-Aramean inscription as -sphrr ;
other :
the sfar-da from a lydian word “a year” ? ;
but root sfar(d) (silent -d) into sfar(va-)d-d , where -dad is “this place”
then , according to the Lydisches Wörterbuch (Gusmani, 1964) the -sfar(va)
can be ‘Denkmal’ (monument) or ‘geweiht’ (anointed, sacred, blessed ,
but also the wider “to consecrate , to inaugurate (also ‘into an organization’)” etc ;
this seems to be the most logical explanation : “consecrated ; blessed ; etc”
weird ,
then we dó get to Sanskrit , -svar “light, lustre, sunshine” RV
and -svar “abode of the gods” RV ;
4.
aspects of Sardis : as ‘the glittering capitol of Lydia’ because of the gold
found in the sand of the river Paktolos , and they learned the secret
how to separate gold from silver (read : ‘words’ ?) , hence they got rich ;
and a huge temple for Artemis ;
city was destroyed by an earthquake in 17 BC ;
Antiochus III (200 BC) encouraged the jews from Babylonia and other
countries to inhabit the city of Sardis ;
and in 1962 archeological excavations showed a huge synagogue ,
as the most outstanding jewish monument from antiquity in Asia Minor ;
the synagogue was destroyed in 616 and the jewish community ceased
(now how large is the chance that they went to Spain
and named their new land after their former glorious dwellingplace   –
like how they called Salonika the ‘city and mother of Israel’ ..?) ;
5.
the Lydian people – the ‘Sherden’ (as ‘the sea peoples’) ?
6.
concerning hebrew root – sphr (also ‘scroll’ etc) it is unrelated to -sphrd
in the sense of a connection with Sardis ; yet it may have been a Legal point
for Satan to connect his servant (Esau) to the ‘scroll’ theme ;

Philadadelphia :
as ‘brotherly love’

Laodicea :
in Strong’s : contraction of -laos ‘people’ and -dike ‘penalty’ (judgment)
where -diké is “justice , right , penalty , legal decision” ;
ofcourse no city would call itself like that
so the original name may have meant “the right one for the people” (or similar colour) ;
