         by finding a workable thoughtline across the text which also here is terribly corrupted  —
         the first observation is that this section resembles Haggai 
         [and perhaps it isn’t coincidence that the message was given during the reign of ‘Darius’]  
         while this specific section seems to resemble “the 3d year theme” :
A) the “third year + …” theme : 
– the buildup starts in chapter 1 , the first lines , 
  mentioning an uncertain date as the start of the restoration of the scroll  — like Haggai 1 ;
  then this 7 agáin mentions a date , rapidly followed by a date in chapter 8 — like in Haggai 2 ,
  interpreted as “the start of the scroll”                                            [-the first year : chapter 1] 
                         “many themes found in the restored scroll”         [-during three years] 
                         “but one theme is still lacking”                                  [-three years passed : this chapter 7] 
                         “the final theme is found”                                             [-after a short while : in chapter 8]

              but what ‘date’ : Trumpets ? :
              … the very concept above suggests “that we understood the time frame of restoration” 
              [and we do – namely ‘three years’] , but also suggests “that we understood the start  of it” 
              [or it would be useless to repeat ‘a month and day’ when the desired theme has been found]  ,
              but that starting point we can only reconstruct in hindsight :
          – the start of ‘the 70th week’ was about “the start of the restored scroll”
              and “the gift as the sacrifice (Golgotha) that will CEASE halfway that week – Daniel 9 – 
              shows the same full three years of the restoration of the scroll , then the Tribulation begins ;
          – the ‘appointed day’ for that start must be Trumpets “as the start of the (final-) 3 Fall feasts” ,
              in context that “trumpets represents a Speaking-Up : to God” , also described as “lifting up
               the standard” through understanding what He said ;
          – therefore Trumpets (also-) may be a ‘He answering  us’ : this is an important notion
               and a very possible explanation of the date-sequence in the text  , as mentioned above 
               [in the sense that “the trumpet sounds – and the far greater trumpet answers]  ,
               so that the instances where the trumpet is mentioned at Christ’s return can support  this idea ;    
B) the lacking theme : Eve :
… several times now we had the combination “Adam + his gate , Eve , and our date” where the
latter is also described as “the sun going Dark” ;
interestingly a line in this section (8:9) is very similar to a line in Haggai 2 ,
“Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth  of the prophets,  
which [were] in the day [that] the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts  was laid,  
that the temple might be built ” , giving credence that indeed the theme was ‘Eve’ here  —
while next chapter 9 is about “Damascus as the matrix-gate of Adam” !
              problem :
              in the other prophets concerning this theme is mentioned that “she weeps greatly” ;
              no phrase appears here but it dóes show in the (corrupt-) section in Zechariah 12
              where ‘everyone is weeping’ , therefore it is possible that a) Esau cut-out that section 
              and moved it to 12 , or b) he overwrote it here — but considered the very “flat text”   
              [=uninspired] in 7 it appears that he has moved it ;
              the same with “sea” because elsewhere “she is imprisoned in the sea” but only in 
             chapter 10 shows a section about ‘the sea’ mentioned together with ‘the Nile’ — 
             as the river that will dry up when she will cut-off her heart from him ;
              it got so fragmented that restoring a solid buildup will be almost impossible …
