a double event : restoring the Horeb covenant [now at mt.Nebo] in the 7th day of Unleavened + the prophecy by Moses about our situation [originally added ‘in the 70th year’ : the 7 – 50 – 70 ‘Jubilee’ theme] [Unleavened 4/28 looks so good !] [version ; 2024-02feb.26] |
part II : “read this scroll every 7th year” (Dt.31:10) links to “the Jubilee year” in Is.58 : at Unleavened ! |
both at Horeb and Nebo |
book Deuteronomy : restoring the Horeb event — now at Nebo
[supporting our Unleavened date !]
… well this is all good news —
the ‘Ascent of Moses’ was a valuable find (see page) and searching to have that irrefutable ,
working back through the Deuteronomy book she is but centered upon óne theme only :
the restoring of what went wrong forty years earlier at mt.Horeb — therefore a number of
conditions are similar here which is required in order to can link back to the Horeb situation
actually the bulk of the chapters (until 26-28) is about “RE-confirming the Covenant” ,
but the final 29-34 are about “the consequences in the future of what went wrong at Horeb”
which are both our themes as “Adam’s strange fire” and “the restoration of the scroll”
since they are problems also having their origin in what happened at mount Horeb —
hoping that the above important Core was phrased clear enough ;
[the Leviticus 8-11 chapters of “both Aaron sons offering false fire” is no contradiction
of this theme but probably an incentive to us to go explore this subject : Esau must have
seen that and consequently corrupted those chapters so much]
buildup of the book
… the above is important to remember because Esau tried to cover up the ‘restoration’ theme
by diffusing how at the start of the book they ARE at mt. Nebo already (-not only at the end !) ,
by leaving out in the first chapters how the people just defeated the Ammonites (-see page) ,
since ofcourse he needed to Disarm “the false fire” and “the scroll” as ongoing double-theme :
part I (chapters 1-3) remarks :
… described : after the forty years desert journey [very doctored chapters]
now they just crossed Edom Moab and Ammon , [missing : defeat of the Ammonites]
and camp at some vague (!) point almost ready [missing : they camp before mt.Nebo]
to enter the land [missing : ‘Balaam story’ – was moved]
3:23-28 : Moses and mt.Nebo [‘Pishgah’] [but he is UPON that mount now !]
(Dt.4)
Moses refers to Horeb & the laws there + [read : the to-be restored event !]
smoke & fire & God spoke his covenant (!) ;
[4:16 :] ‘make no idol’ [read : you DID make an idol there]
[4.4:1-49 : corrupt — unclear]
(Dt. 5-26 +28)
Moses proclaims 100ds of ‘laws’ to keep [part of the same RE-confirming]
[probably as a type repeat of those at Horeb]
ending with a ‘curse & blessing’ in chapter 28
as the entire future , including the Tribulation !
[as result of the scroll that will be corrupted :
this was the ‘Balaam story’ theme and Moses
agáin warns of that in chapter 31:29 vv] [end of RE-proposed Covenant conditions]
part II
the people’s actual response : [very corrupted chapter sections]
(Dt.27)
[27:6:] shown : people build a proper altar (!)
[27:4:] not “mount Ebal” but mount NEBO = here , [no ‘Ebal & Gerizim’ nonsense]
needed : “the people decláring something” [of the 12 declarations in lines 11-26
in 15 : “NOT make (no more) an idol unto IEUE” 3/4th is nonsense = corrupt : cont. in ch.26 ?]
(Dt.26) (here?)
… very unusual (and long) “declaration” of the [sic : declaration : continued from above ?]
candidate commanded to offer (first-) fruits [we think ‘unleavened bread’ ! per context]
as offering upon the altar [which they just build – the proper one !]
[as fruits ‘carried in a basket’] [but that is said of ‘the breads’ , elsewhere !]
closing : unsure still end : people RE-affirmed the covenant
part III (29-34) >>> and are to enter that land
Moses’ prophecy
… Moses goes up to Nebo (-again) where God speaks
the prophecy to him which he writes down there ,
giving it to Joshua that is with him ; which has to be
read out loud every 7th year at the Tabernacles feast [we think ‘at the 7th of Unleavened’ ! see below]
after which Moses doesn’t die (-see page) end : Moses’ prophecy to be fulfilled by you & we
but taken up in the sight of Joshua (compare Christ) >>> and like Moses we enter Eden
now please – how does the above sound to you ?
it must have been “the people offering unleavened bread” for the theme still runs on
therefore a “when you will have entered the land , offer your fruits” makes no sense !
the “read this scroll every seventh year”
[bit difficult section – but because of corruptions]
… now that we have a rather solid context of the buildup
[though we still need to see how exactly the corrupted series of chapters will come out]
the question very important for us is what this line has said : though the intent may have been
reading “all of those laws also” it certainly included the prophecy — said as thus :
(Dt.31:10-11) “And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of [every] seven years,
in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles, When all Israel is come to
appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law
before all Israel in their hearing.”
now ,
there were three occasions that the sons had to appear : at Unleavened , Weeks (Pentecost)
and at Tabernacles — and since Weeks “is already taken” [=the first Christians] and Tabernacles
still has to happen [=Jacob saved] we only have left Unleavened – for us , as the same week
which’ absolute main theme is the restored scroll and of the strange fire — per Moses’ prophecy !
and a second important aspect here ,
is that “reading out the scroll” implies that it is ‘valid’ – that is : uncorrupted ! since that is what
we are doing all the time : “to declare the right version” [for the ‘seven year theme’ see below]
a) and·he-is-instructing Moses them to·to-say-of :
b) from·end-of seven years , in·appointed-time-of year-of the·release , in·celebration-of the·booths
a) u·itzu mshe auth·m l·amr :
b) m·qtz shbo shnim , b·mod shnth e·shmte , b·chg e·skuth ,
… here ,
#1 both “release” and “booths” are already suspect (-because of the corrupt “the·” prefix) ,
however : because of all the context above it’s 99% sure it said “Unleavened” instead of “booths” ;
#2 then we need to see what the line wants to say :
the addition “appointed time of year of […..]” either repéats [confirms] previous , and is póssible ,
however it can also ‘specify’ further : either something ‘of those 7 year’ OR ‘of the feast’ ;
#3 the term “release” (-shemittah) is a weird one [=suspect !] only appearing in Deuteronomy 15 [4x] ,
and this is causing us an unexpected problem , see next section —
therefore the first option would be , leaving the line itself intact :
from=at the end of – [every] seven – years ,
in=at the appointed festivity – (as) (the-) release=seventh (SHmth=SHbo) – year=day OF +
[..] the feast of – tabernacles=Unleavened ,
no ?
— this addition makes Sense : to not confuse it with “the 1st day of unleavened” , after Passover ,
but to denote the important “7th day” as the day of mt. Horeb — and now mt. Nebo ! ;
— second : the “seven years” derive from “the seven days” as ‘the blueprint-week’ of Unleavened
which in turn is the “7th sabbatical year” [-in Leviticus 25] , so that we have a solid link to the
seventy week-years of Daniel” as a multiple of ‘seven’ ;
while also that 7th day refers to us – as the moment of presenting the restored scroll !
but we would need (the phrase-) ‘Jubilee’ :
… and now things get messy – thanks to Esau – because his corruptions also affect related themes
in other chapters , while now even the structure of the line will require a change :
a) and·he-is-instructing Moses them to·to-say-of :
b) from·end-of seven years ,
c) in·appointed-time-of year-of the·release ,
d) in·celebration-of the·booths
#1 Esau deleted the important prophecy aspect : Moses said this to the people just before going
up Nebo to hear the prophecy from God and giving the written prophecy scroll to Joshua ;
yes the “every seven years” is fine but is lacking an end-date , and the reasoning is clear :
namely “the reading out loud [=declaring of] the restored scroll” !
all the prophesied misery and pain — as “the curse” — including the Tribulation , which will be
the grave result of the corrupted scroll , will turn into joy because of the restored scroll
[and remember how God calls ‘the corrupted scroll’ “a curse to Jacob” in prophets !] ,
#2 and here comes the ‘shemittah’ problem — as Esau often did he invented a root , then placed copies of it in other chapters as alleged ‘proof’ that his invented root is valid , and in this case he did that in Dt.15 [4x] ; the official meaning is “temporary release” but that interpretation derives only from the context in which Esau placed it [as said in chapter 15 “the year of the release”] yet the root makes no sense : |
where (-shBBth) and related (-shBth) are “rest” and “to cease” this (-shMtth) is from (-shM)
as “name” and the related (-shmo) “to listen” and “report” [-together with the related “heaven”
and even “desolation” as the absence of the name] , but nowhere connotes with “rest” —
then why should (-sheMittah) mean “a release , a ceasing” ? that is so illogical ;
#3 7 , 50 and 70
he used his (-shmtth) in Deut.15 of which the second half appears to be deleted by him ;
yet in the mirror of that [doctored-] chapter Leviticus 25 about “the seventh year of rest”
it is properly called “sabbatical” (-shBBth) there ; but then we run into anóther problem :
50
the seven years are multiplied with seven resulting in the 50th year (comp. Pentecost 50) ,
as a celebration termed “the Jubilee” – literally “ram’s horn” (-ibl) H3104 ,
but after Leviticus 25 that term ceases to appear in the rest of the scroll —
did Esau use “jubilee” for the 50th like he used his “shemittah” for the 7th year ?
this is important because what name we can give for the missing “70th” ?
70
the only proper explanation we have concerning ’70’ appears in the book Daniel , but if that
is so important why is that missing in Leviticus 25 [=corrupted] and Deut.15 [=gone] ?
and it IS important because it is the same as “the acceptable year” of IEUE in Is.58 & 61
where the main theme is ‘Unleavened’ – the strange fire – for we’re doing that chapter now ;
so that
the 50th year (was called) >> the Jubilee ?
the 70th year (was called) >> the Great Jubilee (or) the acceptable year ?
now please ,
in Is.58 also appears “the day of – Unleavened” from the corrupt “day of – fasting” so that
the “year” in ‘acceptable year’ should be correct (and let’s hope it is this 2024 …) ;
however there is no way we can be sure whether it was ‘Great Jubilee’ or ‘acceptable’ ;
therefore the second version of the line must read :
(a) from=at the end of – [every] seven – years , [definitive line :]
(b) in=at [+the last] [+day] of – the feast of – tabernacles=Unleavened ,
(c) in=until the appointed time . +
(as) the year of – the·release=acceptance , [or : ‘the Great Jubilee’]
here ,
added is “the last + day” to not confuse with the stárt of that week ,
while “the appointed time” (-muod) points to a still unknown future-year : per the prophecy ! ,
and a description as ‘acceptance’ that MUST properly link to other chapters in the scroll —
how does this sound to you please .. ?
our day : ‘this’ Unleavened – or ‘just before Atonement’ this fall ?
… it’s not always easy to have to be brutally honest : considering all the above context
we feel that the calendar-day of this Unleavened “trumps” any Fall 2024 date —
for continuance one could consider that Atonement , having a negative connotation
as the point where the tribulation would start , is our day : and that the last day of our
week would “be dragged until that time” (-which sadly is possible .. but let’s hope not) ;
but on the other hand ,
we may have — you may have , Sir — “already hád this year’s Atonement lást year”
as “Legally included in the extra waiting-time until this Unleavened calendar date” :
it’s all a bit poor type phrasing but you will understand
