                                                                  Gilgamesh defeats Huwawa

       … we’ve to make this as short and to the point as possible , okay ,
       minding the readability since the original theme is very extensive ; and although the
       unique interpretation as “Gilgamesh representing the class of Watchers” is interesting
       enough to write an entire book about it , we simply lack the time for doing so    —
       therefore only the outlines here , and if it interests you please do your further research

       the main key here is that ‘the whole Sumerian lore backs up the Egyptian Spells’
       so that we only have to observe the cóntext of the Sumerian characters and phrasings
       to can match them within the proper event of the many ones that the Scroll declares ,
       if we keep in mind that most of Sumerian lore was about “the interaction of the other
       reality with the situation upon earth” which was a rather new situation at that time ,
       having started only a couple of millennia earlier !

       understanding the used ‘symbolism’
       … a second key point is to remember that ‘their heroes’ that dwell in their other reality
       (read : Mystery-Babylon) ofcourse are most often handsome and very smart , etc ,
       while their enemies are depicted as serpent-like or as ogres : but only because those
       enemies have Eden-traits which they hate : in the case of ‘Huwawa’ it is said that he
       had “a shouting loud voice” , and because of the óther descriptions we imagine some
       screaming ogre : yet the ‘loud voice’ refers to “being in communion with (our-) God”
       as “the type speech which they hate” – as exactly so declared in the Spells
       [and that ‘Haman’ , see Esther page , álso links to the root “loud” is no coincidence !] ;
       if we keep this in mind we can follow quite well the intent of the descriptions

                                                      short summary of the Sumerian version

“the absolute hero Gilgamesh and his friend Enkidu travel several days from their city Uruk at the
east bank of the Euphrates to the Cedar forest , which is guarded by Humbaba. The heroes cross
the seven mountains to the Cedar Forest, where they begin chopping down trees , but Humbaba
uses one of his auras to stun them ; and because he can not be defeated Gilgamesh decides to
trick him so that he will cast them off willfully, in which he succeeds by offering him various bribes,
including goods not available in the remote forest such as fine flour , water in leather containers ,
small and big sandals, gemstones and other similar gifts ;as well as a promise that he will be able
to marry his sisters , saying : “make your mountain dwelling famous, and I will bring you my elder
sister to be your wife in the mountains.”
Humbaba accepts Gilgamesh’s proposal and offers him his auras that are described as cedar-like
and possible to cut into logs for transport ; and as soon as he gives up on the last of the auras and
loses his invulnerability , Gilgamesh strikes him. After being punched in the face, he pleads to be
let go ; first addressing Utu , lamenting that he never knew his parents and was instead raised by
the sun god himself and by the mountains , and how he will be the servant of Gilgamesh instead ;
but when Gilgamesh, who at first takes pity on him , afterwards asks Enkidu if he agrees to let
Humbaba go, Enkidu rejects this proposal .
Humbaba then turns towards him complaining that he is in no place to advise on such matters
because he is only a servant , saying : “Enkidu you use wicked words to him about me” ;
after which Enkidu has enough and cuts his throat.”
         [the ultimate ending varies — they may have cut off Humbaba’s head and put it in a leather
         bag which they give to the god Enlil upon their return ; while the overall ending of the dealings
         of Gilgamesh himself are also unclear as stories having been glued after this Humbaba section]

                                                interpretation : the Ammon sons disarm ‘early Jacob’

       [though the real ‘Jacob’ appears much later , in prophets he represents “our soul in this body”]
      … Gilgamesh comes “from the city at the east bank of the Euphrates” where this river represents
      just as she does in prophets , the dimensional border between the (evil-) other Reality and ‘earth’ ;
      travelling to the cedar forest ás “this earth” by crossing “seven mountains” as dimensional veils ,
      where “a mountain” also in prophets represents “a spiritual authority” ;
      that the earliest Sumerian versions place this forest ‘in the east’ is most illogical and may be due
      to a miswriting or misréading , where later it is said to be “in the region of Lebanon” (and again
      compare prophets that link “cedars” to the land of Libanon – as to their other Reality)       —
            the heroes proceed to their enemy ‘Humbaba’ called “the mountain-man dwelling in his forest”
            where in the same symbology both the mountain and the forest represent ‘earth’ , and things
            get interesting when ‘mt Hermon’ where the Watchers descended is in the Lebanon region ,
            and indeed this epos has Gilgamesh and his friend going directly to the mountain ;
            now – the manner of “explaining the relation between the other Reality and earth” was done by
            placing a map over a certain region on earth – in this case the Mesopotamian region , and the
            technique God has used in prophets , later in Time ;

      obviously the goal of Gilgamesh is that Humbaba will lose his protective covering in the form
      of his seven protective veils (‘auras’) : and we can only imagine that Jacob , even though he just
      had been placed upon earth in our type body , still had much of his God-given soul power left ,
      or if you like , “still had a certain amount of God’s protection as covering around him” ,
      while the used term “aura” is a rather accurate way of describing this protection , is it not ?
      interesting is the line how Gilgamesh was not able to defeat Humbaba – but only through Trickery ;
      and “the offered bribes” remind very much of ‘what the Watchers teached to the sons of men’
      as secret knowledge , magic , the art of war , the make-up of the eyes , all mentioned in 1 Enoch :
      where indeed they must have accepted those teachings voluntarily
      or read : through first overruling the veils of God’s protection by willfully making another chóice :
      how is that different from the line “and Humbaba gave away his auras”.. ?

      … though the given ‘wisdom’ to early Jacob obviously was intended to corrupt his soul deeply ,
      the main reason – per Genesis and Enoch – for the Watchers to come to earth was “the beautiful
      daughters of Jacob” whom they desired (and see also “the Balaam story – intro” page) ;
      and note how Gilgamesh himsélf offers “his daughter to be your wife” : and though it is not
      exáctly according to the biblical narrative , the very theme is unmistakable !
            now – the reason “that they were so pretty” must have been because of God’s covering ,
            which caused their body – as the same type we have today – to be “much more pretty” than
            that of us living in this polluted end-time ever could imagine ,
            even though the above is a Bizarre thing for us to say (-after understanding prophets) !
            to get some grip on this strange theme : in the (older-) Introduction pages we posed how the
            type soul born in our type body will have great influence upon the overall physiology of it ,
            where that must have been true especially in the olden times considered the different type
            creatures that are said to have existed — but not any longer true for today at the end of time ;
            while a second reason
            [but now we enter a speculative theme] is “that the overall environment was different” and we
            can’t help thinking of the concept ‘the Time when Earth had No Moon’ as a most interesting
            theme already explored by people as Velikovsky , and a most pláusible theme for that matter !
            but then we run into many questions : was “the dimension upon earth much closer to the
            other (evil-) Reality governing her , during that era – and only láter in time ‘the moon’ started to
            distribute ‘the subtle energies that cause the physiology to grow’ (‘and the soul to dream’) ?
            was “the collápse of that pre-Moon dimension “the Deluge” ? was it never ‘a rainbow’
            which the Watchers (!) set in the sky for Noah” but instead “this Moon”… ?
            perhaps we should continue the “flat earth page” in this context .. no ?
            [and please see also “Utnapishthim – the Sumerian Noah” section below]

      … in the closing section “Humbaba complains how he never knew his father and mother”
which is a quote frighteningly true – since prophets completely confirm that situation , but from the
      text is not clear what was the intent of saying things like that (or just ‘to properly identify him’ ?) ;
      then he offers to be the servant of Gilgamesh as the one that will now take care of the forest of
      cedars fór Gilgamesh” , where indeed Jacob has been under great servitude to the sons of Ammon
      throughout the ages until this very day ;
      however , the versions conflict eachother concerning the closing where ‘his head is cut off’ ; perhaps
      as repeating “(the loss of-) his covering” as his most important Attribute , depicted as ‘the head’   —

      how does all of the above sound to you please … ?

      closing :
      from this point onwards we could break down more details concerning this story
      [or even continue the breakdown of the entire Sumerian lore , for that matter ! grin] ,
      and though not every individual aspect will match , the base of the interpretation is Solid enough ;
                  falsification : this story can not be about Eden & Adam for that is another epos written as
                 the so-called “tablets of Creation” where the hero Marduk causes the downfall of ‘Tiamat’
                 (the eden realm) and takes the tablet called ME from Kingu (Adam) , as the tablet which is
                 the birth-right of our Originals (aka the Eden sceptre) , see pages ;
                this main events in the epos is true an Sich but ofcourse written from their point of view ;

                                                                                          other aspects

the figure and name ‘Gilgamesh’
quote , “The Assyrian form of the name derived from the earlier Sumerian form 𒄑𒉋𒂵𒎌, Bilgames.
It is generally concluded that the name itself translates as “the (kinsman) is a hero”, though what type of
“kinsman” was meant is a point of controversy.”
… well – not quite :
Gilgamesh represents “the Ammon sons” that were born of the eden-mother but ‘as corrupt souls’
just as the Scroll explains , as a concept that is exactly repeated in the Spells where they claim their
mother as ‘the pregnant goddess’ ÁU-URT yet testify “how they hate the weary one” (Eden) ;
in the evil other Reality the corrupt (eden-) souls live together with the (demonic-) animal-souls
hence the title for Gilgamesh “kinsman” !
         in the [pre-Hindu-] Rg-Veda we see the same : all the hymns are written by animal-souls (fish-souls)
         describing how “the Kava”, a class of sacrificial (!) priests , “shortly went astray but did return”
         which we interpret as “having been born from the eden-mother but hating eden” ;
then the writer of the Gilgamesh epos himself :
linked to previous point is the situation of the scribe named Sîn-lêgi-unninni living around 1300-1150 BC
who was a contemporary of his Far East partners in crime as the Vedic Sri’s that would compose their
Rg-Veda in around 1100 BC ; where this scribe álso admitted his familiarity with the other (evil-) Reality
by his opening line “sa nagba imuru” or “he who saw the deep (or ‘abyss’) : ofcourse he had !
and just like his colleagues the Sri’s , and like the sons of Ammon (that became ‘Esau’) also he was an
incarnated soul upon earth writing original events in a coloured way !
[until in 500 BC they realized their grave mistake : when God said we’d understand him through them !] ;
         whether this scribe was ‘a corrupt-soul or a fish-soul’ , see below ;

the figure and name Hu-U-U (Hu-ba-ba , Hu-wa-wa)
… apart from the context we can place him in now – which is the most important ! – there’s not much known :
“Many of the variants of Humbaba’s name are attested both with and without the so-called “divine determinative”
(represented by the dingir sign)” , and that ambiguity is not strange : though obviously he was ‘the enemy’ ,
not every scribe will have agreed in also giving the hostile realm a dingir symbol ;
concerning the name : most sources consider the name ‘untranslatable’ ,
and we’ll accept that since Sumerian is not our first ofcourse (can’t have ’em all , no) ,
however – searching the Sumerian dictionary U (1) is “earth , world , gift , blood” as appropriate candidates ,
while the lesser U (2) is the “read , grass” cluster , where the next root-combinations usually refer back
to that same grass theme ;
however the HU is impossible – only as “to scrape off” [-though we’d need the related terms showing as
the Hu cluster like “enclose , confine , to leave behind” to make any “confined on + earth”…] ;
